Long Distance Relationships Never Work

Most of us have been in a longdistance, but has it really worked out?

Hey everyone, thank you for commenting on my poems.
Today’s column is about Long distance relationships. Most people have been in long distance relationships, right? Well, the question today is have you been in one? Do you trust your significant other? Well, people, I was in a long distance relationship, and let me be the first to tell you, 92% of long distance relationships never work. I have my sources.
Anyway, part of the reason long distance doesn’t work, because they don’t trust you or you don’t trust them or both. Now, it doesn’t matter how much you say you trust them and how they trust you. The truth is they’re probably seeing someone wherever they live. They say they trust you, but they go out of their own way trying to figure out if you are seeing someone, wherever you live. They might go to fortune tellers, to find out the truth, or something crazy for that matter.
I’ve been there, done that. It didn’t work out. Point blank. Some of us chat on Facebook, Myspace, AOL, Yahoo, all of these chatting sites, but you have to ask yourself, what happens once they log off? That’s the key. I say find someone you can see face to face, not webcam-to-webcam, OK. But that’s my personal thought on that matter.
Some of you are probably reading this and saying “I’m in a long distance relationship, and it’s working out just fine” well, are you just saying that and believing that or are you just saying it? There is a difference. Trust me.
In closing I want to give all of you a slap of reality. You might be with the one online, but is the one waiting for you in the real world? Ask yourself that question and email me with your answer.
