Tyrants, Cheats, and Thieves
Politicians get theirs free …
regrettably forgetting me.
Programs they will discuss
NOT FOR THEM, just for us.

You Hope I Promise You A Dream
Should not my government guarantee
everything I hope to be?
And, shouldn’t it also prompt
everything I should hope to want?
Then for sure it must provide
everything for life’s free ride?
And even if I didn’t pay,
someone else will pave the way.
Authority should regulate
how I must participate
and designate a slot for me
in a planned economy.
Discounting fact and truth as fiction
to satiate societal affliction
we need a plan that carries us
to the grave, but on a bus.
Free is good, this I say
health care ought to be that way.
remember this, please make a note
expect much less than you devote!

El Presidente
The self-declared one-eyed messiah
Rode upon a pompous ass
To Hyde
Pretentious oratory
From a sightless vulgar mass.
Starry-eyed astrologer
Alchemist extraordinaire
Tenuous
Shrouded quatrains
Reveal he really doesn’t care.
Disingenuous lotus-eater
Puppeteer par excellence
Self-indulgent manipulator
Orchestrates
The veneration waltz.
Adroit and ambidextrous,
He summons the ignorant classes
To evoke his law
and then assure
That it unanimously passes.
Lose not your head, my friend.
Resign yourself, retreat.
Le guillotine discriminates,
’Tween mes amies and lay remains,
Replete and most complete.

Who are These People?
“I don’t know who these people are.”… has become a favorite response of Robert Gibbs, current Press Secretary for this administration. As of late, he was referring to the “protesters” who rallied in Washington D.C. this Saturday, 9-12-09. His response is a reflection of this administration’s ambivalence to and dismissal of a very, used to be, silent majority, which is awakening in this nation.
These are Americans. Not Nazis, right-wing radials, mobsters, or the paid puppets of manipulators. Not a coalition of accommodated fringe groups, but rather an eclectic amalgamation. They are the all-too-long silent majority concerned with this country’s decent into the Hades of socialism and fascism; the decent into the caldron of corruption and financial ruin. They are the personification of all races, creeds, religions, and colors. They are citizens; citizens of all ages, occupations, and beliefs. They are our veterans; the honorable veterans of WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan; the veterans of all peace times, conflicts, and services. They are republicans, libertarians, conservatives, liberals, and democrats from every state, every corner of this country who resent becoming disenfranchised while being economically and institutionally enslaved! They are “We”. We the people…

Very well said Howard. Initially, despite his Democratic party affliction, I had high hopes for President Obama. I admit to being cynical - "we got him, he is inexperienced, maybe he will do no harm." I know there is alot of bull shit slung about him being a Muslim and similar crap. This does not worry me. His high spending, wastrel-coddling, ways do. So does the fact that he governs like the same old crap we have had to put up with for years.
I am badly disappointed, but not surprised.

Thanks Mike... The "crap" has largely been a fabrication and amplification of the progressive liberals themselves: Playing the race card, can't use his middle name, religion, etc. Remember SIN: Shift the argument, Ignore the facts, Name-calling.
BHO asked to be judged by those around him and he mentions a republican, a general, and Warren Buffet. He should be judged based on those around, him fairly and critically. Then you will understand where he has come from and is headed.
His boyhood friend and mentor, poet Frank Marshall Davis – communist, George Soros – Move On. Org, financier, his speech writer (Favreau) and press secretary (Gibbs) - remnants of the failed Kerry campaign, Bill Ayers and Burnadette Dorn -terrorists, Weather Underground, Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan - racist radical preachers/teachers, Tony Rezko and Rod Blagojevich - crooks, Tim Geithner, Charlie Rangel and others - tax cheats, ACORN and SEIU plus AFL-CIO, UAW, Teamsters - corruption and paybacks, Van Jones, Cass Sunstein and the President’s collection of radical left of left (32) czars, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed, Henry Waxman and their wish list of self-fulfilling prophecies, ad nauseam.
He is what he is, because he was what he was and he will be nothing more. I just hope we survive. For the first time in recent history our economy is number two as a competitive economy in the world and dropping... Second to Switzerland. "Chains we can believe in"
Have A Great Week Mike,
Howard
