1. Where did you grow up?
I am from Southern India.
2.What is the first thing you remember that perked your interest in writing?
I was really young when I first started; I can not recall any particular push. I was the observant type, that helped me.
3. Did you go to college/university?
Yes
4. If so, what was your major?
I took double gold medals in completing my Masters in English Literature.
5. Outside of college, how have you educated yourself beyond secondary school?
I read books and magazines, but not so many. The only regular one is Readers Digest. Life itself is a great preacher.
6. What’s your favorite color?
Red
7. Food?
Pizza
8. Pastime?
Poetry and time with family
9. Music?
Not much of a music buff.

Lighthearted ones.

About Your Life On All Poetry
1. Give me a brief rundown of your history on AP. In other words, how did you get here?
My passion for poetry found this site on the net and I have been glued to it since.
2. How long have you been a member of All Poetry?
Around a couple of years now.
About Your Poetry :
1. When did you first begin to write?
When I was in primary school, just some poems at home.
2. What kind of poetry do you write the most? Dark, Sensual, Etc.
I write mostly free verse. Love haiku too. They are on nature, life, my faith. Attempted dark and am quite good with it, but not comfortable on the extreme side of it.
3. Who are your influences?
Nature, life evolving around me and the world. Some are ofcourse fanciful thoughts and fears.
4. What feeds your desire to continue writing poetry ?
My passion for penning my thoughts so that others may also enjoy them and comprehend them in an appreciative way. It is a great outlet for my creativity.
General :
1. Hobbies?
Poetry and spending time with my family.
2. Pets?
None, though I love cats
3. Talents?
Good communicative skills, fast and good cook, fingers good at arts and crafts.
4. Jobs?
Wonderful homemaker
5. What advice would you give to growing poets ?
Follow your passion for poetry, you will pick up a lot of things along the way if you keep practising. Lots to learn and relish.
6. Anything else you can think of.
This site has helped me pick up my hobby again on a more regular level. There is no compulsion, still I log in whenever I find time out of my routine, sometimes more and sometimes less .I am really glad I stayed on here to cater to my passion.
