emotional illness auditions judging

How Aanika and I are judging the auditions.

It will be very simple, really.

We will provide our personal comments on the pieces and give a "yes" or "no".
If you receive two yeses, congratulations! You're in the finalists.

If you receive two no's, then, we're sorry, but you did not make the cut in the contests.

If you receive one yes and one no, then you're neither in nor out; you're in limbo. The two judges
will discuss your piece later and decide then whether you make it into the finalists, so don't lose hope or remove your entry if you receive a "no" first. The other judge still has to give their opinion!

We will form a rubric in the later contests, but with this one, we decided to go simple. I hope this will clear any questions about judging up, but if you have any others, please post them on this column, not the contest.
