Click ‘My Account’ at the top of the page

Under ‘My activity’ you’ll see nine bullet points, the fifth bullet point is

Your lists, contests, columns, backgrounds, images, guestbook, journals, or drafts

Click ‘images’

Then on the right hand side of the screen you’ll see ‘Add a new secondary image’
Select this

This will open up

Click ‘Browse’ and select the image from your computer
.
Give the image a name in the ‘Title’ box
.
Then click ‘Add image’
.

Give it a moment to upload, it may take a minute depending on the size of the image
.
Once it is uploaded you can use it anywhere, in a poem, column, contest or on your page
.

The most important thing to remember with secondary images is you must type it exactly as it appears under the image
Example:

[ image example ] (with no spaces between the bracket and 'image' and the bracket and 'example' - I've only put spaces to show it)
.
If you just type picture it won’t work -
The brackets and word ‘image’ must be there - the best way to do this would be to copy and paste it all from under the image .
