Tutorial: Adjusting the Screen Resolution

Perhaps a little help for those who don't like the squishyness of the new centered look. This will open it up for you.

First thing to do is to minimize all windows so that your desk top is showing. You then want to right click and a text box will appear.  Like this

Click on the personalize link at the bottom of the text box and a window like this will appear:

You then want to select the Display settings link and a box will pop up like this

Photobucket

Below where is shows a slide bar with the heading Resolution, is where you can address your screen resolution or better known as pixel width and height.

Slide the bar to where you want it. (I would suggest a resolution of 1280 by 800 as that seems to work best on AP and then click apply and Okay and you are done

It will take a minute or two for the change to happen. But once it does you should see a marked difference in the appearance and font size of your screen.

Note I use windows Vista, so if you don't have that, the area may look differently but still follow the same steps to update your screen resolution.
