More logo ideas

My obsession has carried me towards another set of potential logos. I think one of these will be the lucky one!
I'll start again this time with my newest favorite:


Here's my favorite from last time moved to the left side, and tied in with a bigger 'A' in allpoetry. I like it a lot too:

Trying to integrate the soaring raven so that it fits with the logo size opportunity:


But I still think this one is the best

    I like your favorite. The one with the current raven looks nice too, but I think it's time for something different. Besides, that one doesn't even look that much like a raven. I thought it was a witch when I first saw it lol. But I think they all look fine and I will grow to like whichever one you pick in time XD

    Of the two most recent, the raven looking over its shoulder appeals to me. It's exactly the same pose as that of the raven printed at the end of the short stories in "Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine". Perhaps if it was a little darker it would seem more raven-like. The gray of it makes it look like a raven in dove's feathers.

    The current raven on the new font seems alright - I think I might even start liking it after a while.

    i have just one more thing to say, then i'll stop. (NOT!) i think all them other 'ravens' look like just another bird. like whimps, you know? but you do what you got to do... really... love gypsyfish. but I THINK IT BLOWS!!! but it IS your website.

    Side note... I think the "A" should be a little larger than the "P".... sort of define the "A" a bit more by greater size.... otherwise, it has the optical illusion that it is smaller than the "P" because the "P" is kind of chubby.... hahaaa Just thinking out loud!

    I think the new logo birds work better as logos because they are less detailed. They look more like seagulls to me then ravens. After a year of thinking the old raven was a witch with a craggy nose, I finally have begun to see the raven.

    The new font is great. Tammy had a "good" raven in a group of logos she designed.

    Current raven because it reminds me of Edgar A. Poe and new font because (excuse me for saying this,) it is prettier than the old font.

    I think the 5th one is great!! (The one with the raven's wings spread and landing on the "A") Very simple and similar, yet better, than the original.

    I like the one with the current raven on the new font, best. However, second best is the one that is your favorite. If you chose that one, I think that'd be cool also.

    The fifth one down "the current raven on the new font". Only perhaps, try to enlarge the A and P and have it landing on the cross piece of the A

    with the new font - I think the new ravens have stumpy legs, and the flying one looks like a seagull. Your newest favourite doesn't have enough tail, and his legs are wrong, but I like the way he sits.

    I wish everyone wasn't so hooked on the current raven. The silouette actually looks more like an eagle than a raven. That's why I like the new ones better.

    current raven with new font that would be my vote... i like the raven that is there now.. the font now is a little dull so i think just changing the font will spice things up quite a bit

    Since you insist that the current logo is no longer acceptable, I do think the one with the current raven is better than the others. However, I still see nothing wrong with the one at the top of the page now.

    I don't know if anyone else suggested what I did, but you actually took my suggestion and did it with #5 and it looks fantastic! I vote for that one, of course...lol

    actually..

    to me the flying raven is the most visually appealing.
    the bird flying makes me correlate that to we poets
    getting ready to once again take to the skies as our imagination soars! but that's just me I guess.. l.o.l.

    he is just so much "tougher" than the other-

    the other looks like a little dough boy raven

    but the current raven outside his circle... now there's a raven!

    The current raven on the new font has a nice contrast between the bird and the gradient of the font. It's certainly the best of the ones shown here.

    First of all I went through the column just looking at the logos - and the one that made me stop and admire was the one with the current raven and new font (I didn't even realize that it was the same raven!). So that's my favorite. But the first one - your newest favorite- is also very nice.

    I don't understand why it's a raven... Never have. Lol. But I like the idea of the soaring one, but I'm not so sure on the actual picture of it.
    I like the picture of the original one but some tweaks wouldn't do any arm I don't believe.

      About the raven - in case you didn't look at the first column Kevin posted about new logos, it's based on Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven," to quote Kevin. I think he's right it about it being a timeless poetic image.

    I love the one with the current logo standing on the A. All the other ones I was like "yeah that's cool" but that one really popped out at me. I don't know...all the other raven logos seemed so two-dimensional to me, like they were drawn on paper. Our current logo has some shadowing and actually seems artistic and realistic. So I think we should at least stick with the current raven logo.

    Leave well enough alone or....

    I love your current logo, it seems to me to be two dimensional. One one hand I see the raven. In the other I see a witch on a broom stick. The wings are the hat, the beak is the nose, the tail feathers are the broom. I believe none of your other logos capture this dual personality. If you want to change it perhaps you could try the bald eagle treatment with a white head and talons. maybe clutching a fish it just caught. food for thought. Rudolf
