Add your poem, then come back and edit it -This is refering to adding your text for your poem, then you want to submit it and choose your background and such, after that you want to go back and click on the link upload a video at youtube. Make sure you have copied the url to your poem that you want to add the video to because you will need it when uploading your video to youtube
Upload a video at youtube - This is the link to upload your video to youtube.
Do a test video to make sure it's working: Enter dummy values in the fields, choose 'quick upload'. Hopefully it will detect your webcam, record something short then choose 'finish' and make sure it looks right once it's processed. If it didn't work, keep trying a few times, or ask for help in the boards. - This is just telling you to test out and make sure that you can upload a video to youtube before actually uploading the video you want to use.
When you're ready to add your video:
Enter Description: Enter the address for this poem (We check, to prevent random videos) - This is the address that I told you to copy earlier in the above steps, this means that you should enter the url to the poem in your description when uploading your video to youtube.
Enter Tags: allpoetry poetry poem slam - These are just quick key words to label your video, so if this is a poem about nature, or love, or abuse these are the 'tags' you want to put, also put allpoetry as a tag since this is where the video will be. Tags are just ways to make it easier to search for your video on youtube.
Click 'Quick capture' - Just what it says, click on the 'quick capture' link to show the code that you need to copy to paste in your poem text box on AP
Select the text in the 'embed' text box, copy it (Edit -> Copy), and paste it here: - Now, final step is to just copy the code in the 'embed' box and go back to your poem page on AP, click edit and paste the code in the text box above the text of your poem and click submit, then your video should appear.
It may take a couple of times to get it right but then once you do it the first time, it should become easier for you.
Some members are not clear on the directions of how to upload a video on AP. So I am clarifying those directions for them.

I just bought a webcam ... there's nothing that says record. It has it's own mic and all that so I can chat in real time .. . how do I record so I can get it to youtube? All it says is pause and take a snapshot...

My husband says I don't need a webcam that my camera does video ... I can't make a video of myself with the camera. arghhhhhh!

Hi! Thanks for tryng to help. I'm going to try to find out what's wrong at YouTube because "Quick Capture" isn't showing up on any of my videos.

It should
be on the youtube page after you have uploaded the video. If you are not seeing it then you have not uploaded the video properly. That is the only thing I can offer as what appears to be happening.
