If you have any custom pictures, photos on your page as secondary images and do not wish to lose them please make sure you have the name saved somewhere to access quickly , such as on a Word Document

When this option is chosen your page will automatically become blank and appear like such until you complete your editing, so please do not panic if your page looks like this for a minute:

To Edit your page with Advance Edit

When you go to the Edit Author Page, scroll down til you reach

Layout & filter options
At the end of this list you’ll see

Tick this box

A box will open up underneath it with
Advanced Mode: Shows a minimal top bar and hides most elements so you can customize them. Add words [guestbook], [guestbook-form], [chat], [rewarding], [items], [focused], [others], [lists], [full bio], [trophies], [groups], [itemcounts], [no sidebar], [active contests] to your description to show each section where desired. Make sure to add a header above each section like My Poems.

Go back up to the main box of your page editing

Decide how you wish to have it set out, you can have your poetry up the top or bottom, Contests in the middle and trophies anywhere or even not on the page at all … it is all up to you
.
Once you decide where you wish to have everything, your poetry, pictures etc you will need to write:

Please Note! [Three]
You need to give your poetry, contests, etc a heading such as “My Poems”, “Words from my Pen”, “Giving away trophies” etc whatever you wish (Though please try not to have ‘Adult’ content in your titles)

So it appears similar to this

[items] - (exactly like this) where you wish to have your poetry

[others] - (exactly like this) is your columns
.
[guestbook] - (exactly like this) is your guestbook
.
[guestbook-form] - (exactly like this) is the box where people write your guestbook entries
.
[lists] - (exactly like this) is your lists
.
[trophies] - (exactly like this) is your trophies
.
[groups] - (exactly like this) is your groups
.
[full bio] -(exactly like this) is your “Member since …” “I am a screaming dragon poet for 11,233 poems” “I support the site as a Gold member” etc

Please Note! [Four]
When you have your [full bio] option up, your trophies, and groups will appear under it as normal so you may not wish to have your [trophies] and [groups] on the page twice
It is up to you of course

[active contests] - (exactly like this) is your contests you have going
.
There are other options to put on your page such as
[chat] - a chat box on your page
[focused] - the poems you are focused on
[no sidebar] - if you wish to not have your “face image” on the side
[rewarding] - your rewarding poetry
.
Please Note! [Five]
When you write the words [items] etc it is like your secondary images, you can not have the font changed to something like Arial, Georgia as it will not work.

Once you have this up you can align it centre, right or left as you normally would
.
Feel free to play around and move things around as much as you like
You may wish to have dividers between your poetry, contests, pictures etc
.
You can have as much or as little on your page as you please
.
Once you decide your page looks how you wish or even if you just want a sneak peek
Click Submit Edit, please do not forget to do this after all the work you put into your page it is easy to forget

If you decide that Advanced Edit is not for you and you wish your page to go back to how it was, simply untick the Advanced Edit box and remove the words [items] etc off your page

I've replaced it with a scrolling banner of my name, but it was annoying that I couldn't figure out how to put that name back there. 
What tag would make the name go back?
