Congrats!!!
1. Where did you grow up?
Mariaville, New York. I'm a small town girl but I'm truly a New York City girl. ( I was born in Manhattan)
2.What is the first thing you remember that perked your interest in writing?
I always loved to read, and I thought that writing was the best way to convey your feelings to others.
3. Did you go to college/university? Yes. I took the spring semester off but I am returning
to college in the fall!
4. If so, what was your major?
Media and Communications!
5. Outside of college, how have you educated yourself beyond secondary school?
I listen. I take in as much information as I can. I read the paper, watch the history channel, TLC and I watch the news. Most importantly I ask questions.
6. What’s your favorite color?
I have several. But my favorite color is blue.
7. Food?
Chinese food!! yummm!
8. Pastime?
reading and writing.
9. Music?
Alternative, Rock, R+b, Rap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Oldies
wow...basically anything.
10. Poet ?
Langston Hughes!!!
11. TV show?
ha ha ha. Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Angel ( David Boreanaz is sooo dreamy) Law and Order SVU and Bones.
12. Movie ? Again I have several: Requiem for a Dream, Girl Interrupted, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

About Your Life On All Poetry
1. Give me a brief rundown of your history on AP. In other words, how did you get here?
I had a notebook that I took with me everywhere!! It got tattered and I was afraid I was going to lose my poetry, so I googled poetry sites and AP popped up! My life has been complete since. Ha ha ha.
2. How long have you been a member of All Poetry? Since November 2004.
About Your Poetry :
1. When did you first begin to write?
Six or seven years ago.
2. What kind of poetry do you write the most?
I usually write when I'm sad or depressed, so mostly dark stuff.
3. Who are your influences?
Amy Lee of Evanescence, and Me. The things I do in my life greatly impact who I am...so the mistakes I make good or bad make wonderful poetry.
4. What feeds your desire to continue writing poetry ? I love to write. It's a wonderful catharsis! I'll write until I can't write anymore...then I'll hire someone to write it all down for me!

1. Hobbies?
writing, sleeping, music
2. Pets?
yep! two dogs, Sadie a six year old husky mix, and Skye who's three, A purebred Siberian husky who's a little strange!
3. Talents?
writing, sleeping and...being goofy
4. Jobs?
Yes! I finally have one! I'm a residential counselor. Meaning, I help developmentally disabled adults lead a normal life.

6. What advice would you give to growing poets?
Keep writing. No matter what. If you have writers block, write through it. This is a beautiful hobby!!
