I know this is a quick posting from the nominations, but I don’t have much to say. My mind is simply made up & why waste your time pissing & moaning about what to do.
First of all though, we have that little issue of the top poets of this round. The clichés everyone chose were… interesting. I didn’t even find some of the topics to be a cliché, but hey. Everyone has their own opinions.
Without further ado, in sixth place is [sorry, I couldn’t pick.]:
Melissa. You totally fooled me with the cliché. Your homey images were lovely. Haha :]
Fifth is:
Justin. Completely fresh situation paired with your cliché. Loved it.
Fourth:
Marty. Seriously, the gravy still grosses me out as I think about it. Nice.
Third place goes to:
Matt. After reading all of the sunsets, yours was new. Haha
Silver for:
Pu. The spitball flying was a completely new concept & a perfect take on drab roses.
& finally, the top poet for this round is:
Christina. I honestly had a hardtime picking between Pu & you. You guys brought different things to your clichés, but I went with your write because even the formatting of it seemed to contribute to the hazy, rainy theme stuff. Not that it has anything to do with the poem, but your concept was overall, better executed to me.
Congrats you guys.
Now for the living. With no voting, it is purely on me. I will just get to it. The following poets are safe:
Kevin
Angie
Stef
Audri
Cassie
Hellen
Bri
That leaves us with our bottom three poets. Non of you participated in the collab. In this contest, that is not acceptable. I know things happen in life, but I’ve just got to eliminate you if you can’t get stuff in. It’s nothing personal. [I was going to flawn the tagline, but eh. I'll save it for my author's page.
]The first eliminated poet is:
Shirley.
Shirlgirl, you didn’t help with the collab & you didn’t turn in a personal poem. I have no choice but to eliminate you on that fact.
& the second to be eliminated:
Danielle.
You are one of my best friends on this site. I mean, hello. I have you in my freaking faves for TMobile. But for the simple fact you didn’t even join the group for your collab, I have to let you go.
That means, Johanna, you are safe. I’m not sure why you didn’t get anything in for the collab, but I hope that you’ll pick it up next round.
Please leave any messages to Shirley or Danielle on this page. They will be removed from the group in 24 hours.
New round will be up later tonight or tomorrow. Who knows.
-Chase

I am in complete shock that you actually liked my poem that much. Seriously, I had no clue. *continues shock in MSN for a few lines, haha* Wow... thank you.
