Tonight marks the official start of project poetry. Exciting, right? 26 of you are going to be competing this season. You’ll be happy to know that I didn’t plan to have 26 like the letters of the alphabet, it just happened to be that way.
Brandon, Bunny & Namita were all eliminated or quit this last round for not turning in a poem for the immunity/pardon pass challenge. I could not decided on just two poems, so I have given out three passes.
Remember, these passes must be used within 24 hours of a vote. They cannot be used to veto/null my personal decisions, but only the voted decisions of you contestants. You will need to message me/comment the column with your decision to use the pass on either yourself or someone else.
Chelsea will remain in the contest. Since her computer is busted, though she didn’t tell me that, I will allow her to continue in the challenge as long as she a. completed the immunity challenge & b. completes writes for the challenge this round. If her computer is not fixed/she does not finish the writes by the end of this round, I will have to eliminate her.
Now onto this round’s assignment:
For the first round, you guys will be writing
Collaborations.
Oh yes. What a frickin surprise, right? Oh shut your face & get used to it.
You will be allowed to choose one partner for this round. Since there is an odd number of people in the contest [25] one group of three will be open for claimage.
Once you have found a suitable partner [that phrase makes it sound like this is like, AP The Bachelor or something] you will both need to decide on one of the following warning labels. After my shower tonight, I will looking at the bottles around the house & decided you guys can write from them. Lucky you.
The warning labels/directions are as follows:

[Angie/

These will go at a first come-first serve basis. So once you have your duo decided, comment the page with your said team & prompt [obviously.]
Also this round, there will be a personal challenge. It is as follows:
You will each be turning in one poem for judging. It must be under 25 lines & have some sort of reference [by inspiration or by some form of use] to
“arcade”
Take that as you will. I will be hosting a contest to hold these individual writes. The top poets get points & shineys, the bottom get booted. There is your contest link.
http://allpoetry.com/contest/show/2399335
Both of these pieces will be due on Friday, April 18 by 10:00pm CST.
I will first judge all group works & pick the bottom 3 groups. These people will be at risk for going home.
Note #1: Chelsea will be completing the tasks on her own since her computer is still busted. She will automatically be up for elimination, to make it fair.
Note #2: I will extend until 12:00am, April 19th CST. You will have until 4:00pm CST that same day to turn in anything else. There will be a penalty, but no immediate elimination. *'s designate a... um... late fee. haha

Any questions or comments, please IM/comment the column.
Good luck, guys. :]
