~Cats~ for those that love them!

Love them or hate them Cats are a fact of life. They intrigue,
irritate, disgust at times but no one can deny they are an interesting animal whether tame or wild.

We can even have a laugh at their expense ..........

What a great idea. I have two of these incredible animals and I work as a catsitter. Yes, they do make us laugh. Magic creatures.

I'll be back to check out the links. "The Lion and Albert" - that's a good one.
  • Although not a pet owner I think I would share with a cat rather than a dog (I am told you can never 'own' a cat). I particularly like the big cats and see you have referenced some of them in your selection here, although I can't spot Blakes Tiger brightly burning in your lists.
I am going to enjoy following up the references supplied.
    Many Thanks

Blakes 'Tyger' is now included - an oversight - thanks for the reminder.

I'm not known as a 'cat lover' but even I have to admit there there is something intriguing about these animals. In particular the Wild Creatures, Tigers in particular are an interest of mine. However I hope this column will garner your interest and tempt you to find more poems about an animal that is either loved or loathed.
