Smacked Back To Reality

© pandy15

Smaked back to the real world.
Multiple times I've told you- I'm not your girl.
Arranging my life as you wanted it,
Cornering me into a bottomless pit.
King of the house, or as you thought,
Even without noticing my tears that dropped.
Do you know- you're not my boss.

Breaking my heart several times,
Also checking to see if I was alive.
Changing the way the rules went,
Kicking me back to my old life- sent.

Together we are- in a rebel against you,
On the days that we laugh and say you're a fool.

Really, do you think, you could make me die?
Even though in my heart I still wonder why,
All you did was tell me I was not good enough
Lying to prove that you are most tough.
It's been so long since I've seen you,
Though I don't depend on seeing you soon.
You think you could make my thoughts change- untrue.

SMACKED BACK TO REALITY

On the side note, thank you so much for being such a wonderful inspiration with people. I was very surprised that you're only 11. You do awesome work!

Good luck with all of your adventues.

Very wonderful that you are so inspired. You are a really smart and talented person! Smacked back to reality is a really mature understanding of the situation, great that you learn from your life. I feel alot of pride in you, fellow poet. Keep your nose to the wind...expand your interests and always try new things and you will find what you're really about. Your writing will be really unique and special and you will have your dream of being published in the future! I hope you do. -Raviyn

The greatest of the greatest start out great when they're young.
  • It was fun to read about you and I enjoyed your poem. You do seem well beyond 11 years old, your answers and your poem reflect a maturity not normally seen at such a young age. Congratulations on being poet of the month and WRITE ON! Kimberly G.

this is a very cool interview with this bright young poet, Kari Her poem above is quite good and from the sounds of the interview, looks like she kinda likes allpoetry. I like the poem she wrote and will go to her page and leave a comment on it.

Good job, Kari. And congratulations, Pandy for being chosen poet of the month
