Ok, first off, we are going to turn this image here:

And this is what it will look like when you get it finished:

For this tutorial, I will be using Paint Shop Pro 8. I will show you how to copy and paste the image, make it opaque, and also to make it into a seamless tiled background. This is the link to see the background:

Step one, you will need to open the first image in paint shop pro 8. Go to file, then open. Then chose the image, and click ok.

Now that you have it up, you will need to create a new white image that is sized 400 tall by 300 wide. Like this:

Next, you will have to copy the original image, like this:

And then, go and paste it into your new blank white image, like this:

And then, you will have something that looks like this:
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

And then, you will need to go to make it opaque by first going to properties, like this:

then, adjust your property settings similar to this:

After clicking ok, you will have lightened the image on the white background. Now, your almost finished. All you have yet to do is go to Effects, then Image Effects, like this:

Make sure all your settings are set as shown, then just click on OK, and you will be done. Just save your background, and upload it into your poem.
