The Amazing Race (Leg 1 Pit Stop)

I have to admit, this was so much fun, reading all these collabs made me smile. I was very impressed by the quality of many of the poems.

I first want to say, before I reveal the results, that two teams have already fallen from the race. Helen & Hannah (Friday & DancingRed) failed to make the deadline. Betsy (dragonfly40) had trouble contacting her partner... so sadly, these two teams are no longer a part of The Amazing Race.

Hence forth, one team still will be eliminated. Yes. Don't think I'm THAT kind. I like to keep contests progressing.

Oh, and also, before I submit the results, I would like to say that I put my all into judging and I just pray that I did it to my best extent. I really tried my best to veiw each of your poems to what you've putten into them, the good qualities and things I could see improvement on as a collab team.

Ten & Bunny!

You two gained 97m/hr on your detour, 91m/hr on your roadblock, and also won the additional 25m/hr from taking the Short cut named Ryan's Road. Congrats!


But, just behinding them, comes a vroooooming racecar, gracefully zooooming at 203m/hr, it is...































Chase & Christina!

You two partners recieved 95m/hr on your detour, 98m/hr on your roadblock and recieved the additional 10m/hr bonus from coming in second on Ryan's Road.



But wait! Who is behind them driving a fancy-schmancy car running at 191m/hr.... could it be....


























Tyler & Amy!

Yes it could! Because they both got 96m/hr on their detour and 95m/hr on their Roadblock! Wohoo!



Closely behind this team, driving a car built purely of insanity driving at 188m/hr (or should I say MOVING) is....























Penman & Desire!

96m/hr and 92m/hr on detour and roadblock make for some fast driving!!

Heather & Mark!

The crowd OOOOHS at their 90m/hr detour, and AWWWWS at their 92m/hr roadblock!


Anxiously we await the arrival of the final three drag racing teams... who will be next? and who will come in last? will it be Tim & Deb? Chris & Jeannette? Chandni & Julie? well.... surprisingly we realize that there is a tie for 6th place... that first team involved in the tie, going at 179m/hr is...



























Tim & Deb!

92m/hr on the detour brought them off to a good start, then they received a wonderful 87m/hr on their roadblock.

Who was the second team going 179m/hr?? well, it was...



























Chandni & Julie!

They receieved a beautiful 93m/hr on the detour and a strong 86m/hr on the roadblock.


Unfortunately, this is the painful part.
All the fans bid farewell to Chris & Jeannette, marking their numbers on their faces and telling them "best wishes in the future".

They've recieve 80m/hr on the detour and 92m/hr on the roadblock... sadly they are eliminated from the Amazing Race, making it to the finish line last.
