This means that the two talented poets in our bottom two are The Sisters Grimm and -Ink Artist-.

Leaving us this round is...

STOP! I can't tell you yet! It seems there has been a tie... After adding the two middle scores of each poet together, they both recieved a grand total of 279/300.

So, like the last tie we had, I add the other two judges scores in for another total that decides who is sent home, so this way they two are having a say in the matter...

With a lowest score/highest score total of 278/300, heading home this round is...

-Ink Artist-

You were behind The Sisters Grimm by an ugly point. I can not thank-you enough for your run in the contest... you are an utterly amazing poet, and you never seemed to let me down with each write. Thank-you for all your time and effort... best wishes

Though I am so happy to be moving on, I cannot express how sad I am to see Lori go. Lori is one of the most beautiful poets on this site, and I really thought she would be moving on this round. I was fully ready to see myself go but was (pleasantly and sadly surprised) to see that I was moving on. I have learned so much from this competition, and I am happy to see that I will be learning more. I will be going to read Lori's poetry now and again though. Can't wait to check out the next round!

Well, my friends, it has been a wonderful journey through these many challenges and I feel I've learned something from each. I've worked with forms I'm not too familiar with and stretched my imagination through difficult prompts. More importantly, I've learned something from each of you amazing poetic ladies that still compete to be AP's Survivor!

Trista, Laura, Marion, Chelsea...you are each so incredibly talented...you all deserve to win this competition. I am honored to have made it so far in the contest with you all. You have such creativity and depth of emotion, it shows in every piece you write. I admire you all and I feel very honored to have gotten to know each of you better through these months. You're brilliant, gifted, utterly talented lovely ladies!

To Bunny, TTC, & Gaylene - thank you for your fair and unbiased judging throughout this contest. It's refreshing to hear some critical reviews of our work and be offered advice and encouragement without being belittled for our efforts. I appreciate all the work you've put into this competition. You are excellent judges for this difficult contest!

Ryan, my young friend, I feel you are running a fabulous contest! You bring an ever changing dynamic to your competitions that challenges your contestants weekly to push themselves out of their "box" and dive into a realm of poetry they might have never tried and that challenge has taught us each something about our writing. I, for one, truly appreciate the amount of time and effort you dedicate to this competition. You're a fantastic contest host and if you should do Survivor again, you'll see me there!

This last piece certainly isn't one of my best, but life has been getting pretty hard for me the last couple months and I'm not writing much at all. Hopefully, this will pass and I will be able to be more active once again. Like Renee stated when she was eliminated, I step aside gracefully and will tend to all the weight that lies on my shoulders in the real world for now. In the meantime, I will most definitely be popping in to read your final entries!!

Best of luck to each of you - Trista, Laura, Marion, Chelsea!! I love you all!!

    ~Lori ♥

I've always been the underdog, the one trailing behind and always fighting to stay here...I thought it was the end of my time here and up you pop to totally shock....thanks for 2nd and the chance to go on.
I'm sorry Lori didn't make it, she's a mighty fine poetess.
It's gonna be a tough road from here on in, these girls are good
Thanks for the opportunity you've given me.

WOW I really, seriously, expected to be at the bottom of the apple barrel this round. I was so prepared to be leaving after this, you could knock me over with a toothpick about now.

And Ink Artist leaving us...another huge shock. She has led the pack for so many rounds, it is incredibly sad to see her go...

Congrats to maa, Laura, and The Sisters Grimm...I am so honored to be among you in the final 4!

Thanks also to our judging panel and all the work that has gone into this contest. You are all awesome!

    Love and s to all,
    ~Julie
