Well here is your chance. Your opportunity to mentor and help new poets develop and grow in our community. This is not an AP family, this is a mentoring foundation.
Adopt-A-Poet Foundation:
The Adopt-A-Poet Foundation was founded by Concrete Angel as a new way to open up to new poets on the site. It's a chance for younger and/or less experienced poets to learn from those with more experience and/or knowledge in the world of poetry. It gives poets a chance for any questions to be answered on a one on one and more personal basis. It is also a chance for all poets to grow, and even gain new friends.
For more information on becoming an adopter or adoptee please visit the following link.

Ever want to give back to the site that has given so much? Ever wanted to mentor and teach new poets? Want to help them the way you were helped or the way you wished someone would have helped you? ...

Contact by way of Recilation.
I have critiqued one piece of cristina delaware's work: I am happy to mentor her, and have invited her to look at mine own before deciding she would acceopt me as mentor.
I tried some other way to give my log-on link, but this seemed the best/only way to contact the foundation via your won good, and knowing-me, self.
Cheers,

From Master Anarchy...
I am, in my log-on as Master Anarchy, quite happy to "adopt a poet".
If they are serious, then I am Da Man in Demand.
That I have but little log-on time should not stop any Truly Aspiring, Perspiring Poet from Honing their Skill to a Raiser's Edge.
with the
punches.

I put my name forward about a month ago to be an adopter but have heard nothing back
When I click this link the staff link won't work

I'm interested in becoming a mentor. I've just retired after 30 years teaching (including directing a university-level creative writing program) and miss working with students--individual students, that is...I certainly don't miss classes. anyway, if there is someone out there interested in the nuts-and-bolts of poetry--structure, form, patterning--I would be happy to work with them.

I tried to be adopted a bit ago. I was ignored. Too bad.
-
Oh, the adoption thing is still working? I wasn't aware. I used to be adopted though my adopter and I sort of lost touch. It'd be nice to adopt someone though I'm not sure what it would involve.
-
Oh and the founder is my sister. Her real name is Stephanie
