pieces...[XXV]

our neighbour died yesterday...a 48 year old man, taken by surprise...vicious heart attack...
i didn't know him much, all i can remember is that he was always joyfull and smiling and that he had a weird accent...
i know his wife though, she's always volubile and active...he left 3 kids behind, well they're not kids anymorethey're older than me.but they are without a father now...
what strikes me more about all this is the sudden aspect of the situation. it did seem like a good day otherwise, nothing seemed to warn of any bad thing to happen.especially with the sun,the warm weather, the smooth breeze...
but it happenned,as far as death could be considered bad...i'm pretty sure it is somehow...but only for the survivors, because the deceased is resting after the "big jump".
the only people who are affected,i mean deeply and emotionnally, are the ones who were left behind...
now we can dwell on morbid thoughts for ages and come up with all sorts of theories...
the only truth, the single certainty we humans have is that we're all going to die.
someday...

to me.. we're all immortal beings.. atleast i believe so.. its not about age, or physically being around in this word.. its about what we leave behind that's gna last for a "life-time" like our art.. art exists in everythin, reincarnated by the most simple or at times highly complex actions.. but its there.. it lives.. and so do we...

    take care
