Rules
I expect you all to take on the responsibility of following the rules and such of
this challenge. You have all either applied or have been part of one of my
previous challenges and thus I will not treat any of you as children.
You stepped up to take on this challenge then I expect you to
also take on the responsibility of following it. I won't hunt
anyone down to IM links, announcements or anything
of that nature. I will post all column links in the group
IM once and only once when initially posted.
I will then post the link to each round/post
on the group boards. From that point
it will be YOUR responsibility
to read and follow them.
I am online fairly regular, nonetheless I will be assigning a team leader to
each team. It will be the team leader that you seek out if you should
have questions and such. If they do not have the answers it will
be their responsibility to seek me out and acquire the
answers to any and/or all questions. Also, if
each team would like to create a group for
use during this challenge for their team
members then please feel free to
do so. The only requirement
of that is I must be a part
of it as well.
I will do my best to make certain that each round assignment is clear in
explanation, though I know that there will be times no matter how
clear it may appear to me it still may not be to you and that is
alright. That is when you will need to speak up and ask
questions. Know if you do not understand and fail to
ask questions and seek clarification I will not care
what excuse you may have to present to me
later. I am open to all questions as that
is the only way to be clear so you
can be certain to put forth
your best effort.
For this challenge you will not only need talent but also a Sense of Humor.
Having a sense of humor during this challenge is essential! We all love
to laugh and joke and such. I, too as the host of this challenge, have
been known to play jokes on those participating and know I may
do so again. It is all in fun and none are ever vicious towards
anyone in anyway. So if this troubles you or you lack a
sense of humor then please, leave now. I will not
tolerate anyone that cannot, does not or will
not take a joke. Again, if this is something
that you cannot handle or choose not
to handle I thank you for applying
but ask that you leave now.
I have had some problems in the past with rules and guidelines not being
followed, so I am implementing a base point deduction grid for certain
aspects of all entries. Below you will find a list of items if not
adhered to will result in major point deductions when it
comes to the scoring of your entry. Each and every
rule applies to all that are taking part in this
challenge be you a Vet or a Rookie.
~Base Point Deductions~
Unreadable backgrounds and fonts will result in
a base deduction of 20 points!
Failing to meet or exceeding line limitation will result in
a base deduction of 25 points regardless if it is
one line or ten lines.
Failing to following assigned genre(when one is assigned)
will result in a base deduction of 20 points.
~General Rules~
Respect one another!
Be on time with your entry or face elimination.
Be sure you read and respond to each post so
I know you've read them.
I don't think I need mention sticky caps.......NO!
If there is a reason that will or is preventing you from posting on time,
come to me and explain. If I feel it is a viable reason I will do my best
to work with you. I understand we all have lives outside of
AllPoetry and thus things happen that are beyond
our control.
