God's Law Compared to Man's

excerpt Truth Gathering, AKJV exhaustive Topical Bible

As the title indicates, this excerpt brings together God's scriptures citing His Law as compared to Christ's confirmation; then, both are compared to those laws taught by Satan's synagogues, which appear Christian but are not and their laws are scripturally identified as "man's commandments and traditions."

Be sure to note the remarkable differences in the latter, which do reflect changes, deletions and division: the very acts of which God says will reap utter destruction in earth's end. These actions also are in direct opposition to Deuteronomy 4:2, that nothing is to be added to or taken away from God's commandments.

There are many New Testament confirmations, too many to cite them all here. For a complete citation, refer to AKJV Topical Bible Truth Gathering, chapter "God's Statutes of Life;" which provides about 50 pages, typing paper size, of scriptural confirmation.

God's Law "from the beginning," Exodus 20:3-17 and Deuteronomy c.5; confirmed by Christ's Law; then both compared to "Man's Law" . . .

I.
God said:
Thou shalt have no gods before me.
Jesus said: Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve. (Matthew 4:10)
Man's Law I: "I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not have strange gods before me.

II.
God said:
Thou shalt not make thee any graven imagine, or any likeness of anything that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third generation of them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and obey my commandments.
Jesus said: Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone graven by art and man's device. (I John 5:21; Acts 17:29)
Man's Law II: Thou shalt not take the name of thy Lord thy God in vain.

III.
God said:
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.
Jesus said: That the name of God and His doctrine be not blasphemed. (I Timothy 6:1)
Man's Law III: Remember that thou keep Holy the Sabbath. (midnight Saturday to midnight Sunday)

IV.
God said:
Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work; but the seventh day (sundown Friday to sundown Saturday) is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God; in it thou, nor thy son, nor daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger (heathen) that is within thy gates: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it (made it holy).
Jesus said: Pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day. The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath: therefore, the Son of man (Jesus) is Lord also of the Sabbath. For He spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, and God did rest the seventh day from all His works. There remaineth therefore a keeping of a Sabbath to the people of God. For he that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His. For by Him were all thing created, that are in Heaven, and that are in earth. (Matthew 24:20; Mark 2:27,28; Hebrews 4:4,9-10; Colossians 1:16; Luke 5:6; Mark 2:27-28)
Man's Law IV: Honor thy father and thy mother.

V.
God said:
Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
Jesus said: Honor thy father and thy mother. (Matthew 19:19)
Man's Law V: Thou shalt not kill.

VI.
God said:
Thou shalt not kill.
Jesus said: Thou shalt do no murder. (Matthew 19:19)
Man's Law VI: Thou shalt not commit adultery.

VII.
God said:
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Jesus said: Thou shalt not commit adultery. (Matthew 19:19)
Man's Law VII: Thou shalt not steal.

VIII.
God said:
Thou shalt not steal.
Jesus said: Thou shalt not steal. (Matthew 19:18)
Man's Law VIII: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

IX.
God said:
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
Jesus said: Thou shalt not bear false witness. (Matthew 19:18)
Man's Law IX: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife.

X.
God said:
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.
Jesus said: Thou shalt not covet. (Roman 7:7, implies anything or anybody)
Man's Law X: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is a slight distortion in the very first precept, where man's law says, "no strange gods before me," as opposed to God saying "no gods." Satan qualified "strange" because there is no false god that is strange to him; therefore, the use of false idols and rituals in Christ's name are acceptable to Satan. None are acceptable to God or Christ.
The next thing to notice about man's commandments above: Satan's synagogues deleted God's second Commandment regarding graven images. Why? Because Papal Rome, who is Revelation's great whore that made these changes, is littered with graven images to false gods yet are named as being to mother Mary and Christ and various people Rome has declared as saints; and, so do her daughters the Protestant denominations, though to a much lesser degree in order to hide the family resemblance.
By omitting the second Law, the whole Law is reduced to nine instead of ten, which required that Satan move the third commandment into second place; nevertheless, there remain nine and he would have to do something in order to come up with Ten, so that the overall appearance of God's Law would seem the same if merely glanced upon rather than Biblically studied.
Man's fourth precept has been moved into third position yet refers to God's fourth regarding His Holy Sabbath; whereas man's sabbath is void of being a true seal of authority, which God's Sabbath meets all criteria of a valid seal of authority (see article "Seal of The Living God"). It also lacks the citation of a specific day. Rather than do so, which would be too obvious for Satan's devious taste, his denominations teach an abbreviated law, by using a scripture that is abbreviated, while contrarily saying people should be in church on the first day of the week, Sunday.
They even avoid calling Sunday the Sabbath, for that would be a blatant lie. Instead they call it by a less obvious lie, the Lord's Day; which Biblically is another name for God's Holy Sabbath, but most people do not know this. Instead, they accept that it was the day Christ arose from the grave, which in their mind makes the day okay with God.
Man's fourth law also lacks the reason for authority; as God's Law states He created all there is in heaven and earth. Neither does man's cite a domain over which those laws are enforceable; God's says the domain is heaven and earth. And, finally, man's sabbath law lacks the name of the author of his laws; and, there is good reason: because Satan does not want us to know he is the plagiaristic author.
Satan wants us to believe God is the author, which is to unwittingly set Satan up as our God if we follow man's laws. Therefore, man's sabbath precept is not a valid seal of authority. The only seal criterion Satan's law reflects is that it does not resemble God's Seal; therefore it is a unique counterfeit but a counterfeit nonetheless. God's seal is unique, for there is no other religion in the universe that observes God's seventh day.
Finally, we get to God's tenth precept about coveting. It is here that Satan made up for deleting God's second commandment: he split the tenth statute into two separate laws, and numbered them nine and ten. Voila! Man now has ten blasphemous commandments and the majority of those who profess to be Christians believe they are being taught God's Law; when, in fact, they are being taught lies for God: as Jesus charged, "They teach commandments and traditions of men . . . teaching lies for God."
They continue these lies in God's name in direct opposition to Deuteronomy 4:2. Revelation 22:19 confirms and clearly states that anyone who adds to or takes from God's Word will be removed from His Book of Life. To be deleted from that book is to perish "with or without God's Law." Romans 2:12-13 clearly states this and adds, "For the hearers of the law are not just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified." To be justified by God means that a person has been approved to share in Christ's kingdom to come.
Which laws were you taught? More importantly, which laws do you obey? We ought to obey God instead of men. (Acts 5:29)
    Interesting
    Bonnie -
    From my understanding of our book, the devil will work against the grain of God faithlessly. Nevertheless, each person is responsible to physically pick up the bible, read/listen, and learn. All have broken each commandment, simultneously or otherwise, forgetting origin. Claiming even to have yet to discover it!
    I have stood in many denominations only because one thing: we are the body of Christ. Why then, are we separated by ritual? The cross is meant to be bared together, not made into splinters. Also, I understand the Catholic church - and I disagree with many things including their idea of celibacy. God said to be fruitful and mulitply. Likewise, Jesus said if you're able to be celibate, then go ahead. For example, Saint Paul.
    I believe, 'saints', just like anyone with a biography, are meant to be read about; however, not prayed to. "No one comes to the Father except through Me." The Lord said it, therefore I will read about the saint and pray to the Lord.
    Moreover, Pope Gregory, Pope John Paul, and Pope Benedict- regardless of their office are God's annointed. Far be it from man to curse them. Obeying God is not difficult when one can listen to such men outside of ritual.
    Thank you for this column, another piece of refelection.
    Wonderful write
    God's laws are so wonderful. It is man that allows them to be distorted and ignored for self seeking reasons.
