The fish-tail burner is back for another visit...every night at around midnight this nocturne butterfly comes hanging at my window...
biology stipulates that it's attracted by the light and heat...yeah it's true but there's also something else...
I sometimes think that this little insect comes here for another reason...now it's clear that I'm just imagining vague and mystical motives to explain an act bound by nature and cleared out by science...
but maybe that's what we humans need...
it's quite known now that science has given us the best gifts we can wish for...we've managed to find our way through the darkness of ages and into the light of the future...
but that doesn't’t satiate our hunger for the spiritual...in a world overtaken but materialism and speed is the new found quest for the unknown and the shrewd a new haven?
It really seems that we cannot live without a little bit of mystery...the most revealing sign of a society hooked on occultism and secrecy are the movies...the most likable ones are mostly thrillers with a supernatural tone where warlocks and creepy creatures wage war and where usually good triumphs over evil....but what does this tell us ? Are we turning into insipid beings with an evolved dependence for violence? Or do we just need a break from every day life...just a little vacation in our minds, away from reality, away from harsh routine and blunt modernity...
Whatever happened to our dreams, they are coming back in force...through the movies, the books, the wild adventure stories...it's like a big cycle where two sides of the human essence alternate...maybe the next step is to figure out how to make them work in symbiosis...
I'm not sure...
just don't lose track of your dreams... coz you'll lose a part of your humanity...

All I have to say...as a daydreamer...All I have is my dreams...I guess if I let go...I'd slowly fade out of this world and into oblivion...
