The Inward Indentity

*~* Confused? So is my Muse.
We develop a sense of moral obligation to develop our individuality, Here, we find ourselves ever the curious with strings attached to hold us in place. Despite all that we have been told, we consider not the possibility of life without those long past encouraging words that ring in our psyche.

No terror fills our souls so much then that of life without individuality. Because of this terror, we grasp the strings that hold us to society, the very society we are continuously trying to change.

Because we so despise an organization of laws and sets of standards, we increase the need for the unique. But in the course of our actions, we inadvertently allow the "pure" unique to be swallowed up by societies nonexistent individuality.

WE do not consider the ultimate sacrifice for this "pure" unique. That as we push ourselves away from conformity, we are pushing ourselves into another organization of conformity. We are, then, not able to escape from it. There is an organization in every style and with every style an underlying conformity hides in the guise of the unique, the individual.

What I am trying to say with disjointed thoughts is that the "pure" unique we all strive for with fashion and glamour resides only in our mind. On the outside, we are no more different then the person next to us. Our clothes are mass produced, our image pasted over the entirety of the Internet with a different set of eyes. Our outward appearance is copied and we copy. Our language, movement, and style is nothing the Earth has not seen before. The one "pure" unique thing we own is our mind. Our thoughts, though, formed into that un-unique language are original and are forever trapped within our minds, safe from conformity and society so long as we hold it in our hands, keeping it safe and undiluted with poison.

And to this, I close this disjointed thought process. I look into the mirror now and see that hidden identity that is a secret to our language. As we glide through life, always changing, let us understand that though, outwardly, we are not unique, we are individuals riding out own private train, passing by society and conformity because they do not have a ticket.I was writing in my workbook and anything that came to mind about the subject of the pure unique was written down without a second thought. So, to you, you may find yourselves reading this noting missing pieces or phrases. However, I don't mean to be rude, it only matters that I understand what I am saying. My Muse doesn't even understand. This is simply a reminder to myself to love myself and always feel that I am one of many.

    YOSH!

... so in short... being who you are and what you are with yourself and protecting that leaves you more the unique than trying to assess the situation of this culture and divide from it.. for of course others are in the same pursuit. Difference, Independence, Individuality to dilute Tradition, Dependence, Conformity and there in being chased by the cause from the cause (uniqueness) in the wake of pure numbers. Because if everyone's doing it... how can independent difference and claim to yourself be your will alone.. for everyone is willing it for themselves. For truly there are only so many ways for individuals in the same species to be different from each other.

So to shorten that up, to find true ‘unique-ness’, put everyone in the same jumpsuit, same body type, and shave off their all their hair, until you have nothing left but personalities. What you'll find are the people that get the cows moving, and those that move with the cows. but honestly there will always be groups and categories... human is as human does.

Or do we go with # two – the only individual is what no one else wants to be… and still we have groups and categories… human is as human does.

On another note, GREAT THOUGHT FELIX!
