700 civilians dead…thousands badly injured…over 400 children either dead or missing under the rubbles…all that destruction because of 2 abducted soldiers…oh and because president bush says that Israel has the right to defend itself…
Defense…? Sure…but do you kill innocents to defend yourself? Do you bomb Red Cross' ambulances to defend yourself? Do you destroy a UNFIL base to defend yourself? Do you wipe out the entire infrastructure of a country to defend yourself?
The Arab countries have come up with a decision…they agreed to send Lebanon all the help we might need…they didn’t say anything about trying to reach some kind of cease fire agreement…in other words they leave us on our own in a hostile and barely livable atmosphere to deal with all the chaos that's falling like thunder on our heads…shame…
The western governments are "looking" for a way so "that this madness stops"…maybe the madness will stop when we're all 6 feet under…shame...
Should I stop talking about death? Is it too depressing? Is it inappropriate for the numb minds of the west?
Should I stop talking about destruction? Does it make you uncomfortable? Does it bother you in the safety of your peaceful war-free homes?
Well there are people in my country that have no homes, no peace, no war-free environment to raise their children and some of them don’t even have children anymore!
War took that all away...
It's been happening for years now...We've been victims for too long...every day this so called "civilized" presence threatens my land...every day we live with the uncertainties of tomorrow...
Enough is enough! We have been under the pressure of firearms and weapons of mass destruction for too long! ENOUGH! We will not kneel! We will not bow! We never have! And this is no time to change that! Never again will we be victims! Never again shall our land be raped by greedy invaders!
We stand tall, as always...
Our country has become a wasteland...the fertile soil is tainted with the blood of those who would not leave...we remain here, against all odds, fighting the tides of unequal globalism with the only strength of our fists and our courage...

Are you safe at the moment? My internet was busted but I heard that the Israelis have already started to invade Beirut. This is absolutely a powerful and gripping piece that urges for peace to reign in Lebanon. The Israel government probably went nuts to gain their control over Lebanon, or threaten Lebanon's alliances.
Anyways, hope the war will end soon and best wishes. -

What can we say to people that are over taken by a subjective media? we just want freeedom.. freedom before peace and then it'll all be alright.. we want to be able to have a daily life, to have a future.. we're just teenagers who have barely lived half their lives.. leave us alone for the sake of everything dear to you..

this made me sad. so many people are dying and its ridiculous. its not fair to the people in lebanon. innocent children are dying. i asked my mom if she thought the apocalypse was upon us. she said she wasnt sure. but i think so. war, famine, death, and antichrist. if u ever watch the news all u hear about is war which causes death the wars are more then likely causing food to be scarce which causes death and now ill bet u anything that people especially in lebanon are starting to doubt god exists. if u ask me the apocalypse has started. america is doing nothing to stop the war. just patting them on their backs. north korea has nuclear weapons and everyone was like omg they're gonna blow us up. but now israel is blowing up lebanon and killing innocent people. what are doing for them? u raise an excellent point.

read my poem They All Fall Down, I am not from Lebanon, but I feel your horror, it has not gone unnoticed and hopefully, future children will learn from this mistake and we will have the Kingdom Of Heaven, where we can all live in tolerance and community. I fear our battle is lost for this generation, tho we must continue to try, but let us not allow our children to forget the atrocities we have seen so this may never happen again, to anyone.

This is what Fox News needs to step up and say. American Government will stoop to any means neccassary to protect Israel. And our so called media constantly rubs Israels shoulders. Israel is bent on destruction, not just Lebanon either, these megalomanics are after an "ethnic cleansing" in their own words. I believe it was the Prime Minister back in the late 80's that said Arabs weren't worth human excrement, this they don't mention on the American news. Or another Israeli rabbi that stated 1,000,000 Arab lives aren't worth one jewish fingernail.
American propaganda is so very powerful, and corrupts many men, women and children in America. It fills them with hate and fear. We are on the verge of collapse and as long as Fox tells everybody what to believe, sadly they remain content with choosing sides with Isreal once again.
