The Purpose of Anger

I've often been told that I should be nice to so-called friends . . . anger serves it's purpose.
I've often been told that I should be nice to so-called friends, that I should not be angry with them, but anger serves it's purpose.

Think of when one has been angry with YOU. Didn't it make you reflect on yourself, make you try to understand WHY they were mad? Loose anger and your "friend" will never learn from their mistakes.

Anger is an emotion. Emotions are natural. If we are never angry, if we force ourselves not to be, we are lying - in a sense - to our friends and ourselves. Is friendship not strongly about honesty?

You are not required to hold in your anger. Life is not a play. You do not have to pretend. Of course, one should avoid being TOO angry, but let us not remove all justice. We live in an often sappy world.

sure it is not reasonable for someone to tell you you shouldnt be angry . In order for you to make it work for a positive end it would be smart to control it. Allowing people to know how upset you are with a certain ammount of passion but not loosing control and coming off as a creep.

You made some pretty good points there Frodie. It's not always as easy as being angry though. Might I inquire as to where this came from?

    Brilliant

Wow. That was very interesting. It is hard to hold ones anger at times though.
