The Natural and the Supernatural (essay)

One could define all dimensions as natural, but we don't know and can't know what others are like; so, we call them supernatural.
Scientists have long believed there are dimensions beyond the four of nature we are capable of knowing (three of space and one of time). Thirty years ago an article in SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN said there might be eleven dimensions. Now, today, there is still talk of eleven dimensions. This is theory. String Theory is theory. Using language, we can conceive of these in our imagination, but only if some form of evidence from one of those other dimensions were to come into our natural four, would it be possible to verify these theories. One could define all dimensions as natural, but we don't know and can't know what others are like; so, we call them supernatural.

To understand anything from outside of this world we are in we must have a source of information which we can depend on, can trust, from that other world which we call the supernatural. This is exactly what the BIBLE claims to be giving us: a revelation from God in His dimension, or realm as the BIBLE puts it. The nature of the BIBLE is like the nature Jesus had on earth: part divine and part human. In Christ God dwelt bodily. In the BIBLE there are words written by humans that are God's words. If Jesus is to be taken at His word that He was from the supernatural world, or Heaven, we can count on what He told us of how we can fit into it ourselves if we want to and are willing to. Remember that heaven would be PERFECT if EVERYONE ALWAYS behaved righteously. In heaven everyone will, because everyone will want to. In Christ God dwelt bodily. Jesus was God; a human being was God. The divine and human natures completely met in Jesus Christ.
