My Goals

My long term educational goals and my long term career goals are closely related. Education being the background for everything I wish to accomplish in my life time. My lifetime goal is to continue educating myself and becoming a role model for my daughter so that she may see that anything is possible with education and determination.



My long term educational goal is to get my Masters in Early Childhood Education and a Doctorate in Early Education Psychology within ten years. In accomplishing this goal I have set many short term goals. My first being the day I decided to obtain my GED. That goal was completed upon receiving my GED diploma. The next goal I set was going back to college. I am currently enrolled in Axia’s online College going for an Associates degree in business within the next two to three years. Once I have completed all the required course work my next short term goal is a Bachelors Degree in Business within the next five to six years. Upon completion of those I will begin on my long term goal.



My long term career goal is to start a non profit organization with in ten years. In obtaining my long term goal, my first short term goal was to build a website and recruiting members. I have been steadily working on this site for the past year. I have just added a store to my website which sells products with my logo on it. Another short term goal I have set is attending college in order to get my business degree with in the next five years so that I have a business background to work from. My next short term goal is to research Non Profits and the IRS website for resources and startup costs for nonprofits. I have set this goal to be completed with in the next five to seven years. Through out this time period an ongoing goal is to build funds for the cost of start up of my organization.



I believe all these goals are obtainable. I have already completed several short term goals in the process of obtaining both of my long term goals. I believe my passion and willingness to do what it takes to achieve my goals will ultimately bring my success; and in so doing complete my ultimate goal to live a life fulfilled and productive in service to others.
