I first started creating this form November third of 2005, and by the fifteenth, I had written the first one. I call this form a Laurenova. The Laurenova was named for my daughter, Lauren, who is also a member of AllPoetry. I have personally found the form to be interesting, and quite challenging. I would now like to share this form with my fellow poets here at AllPoetry.
How to write a Laurenova
A Laurenova consists of six quatrains (four line stanzas) with a fixed rhyming scheme, of abcb, throughout all six quatrains/stanzas.
The first line of the first stanza will serve as the fourth line in the second stanza.
The second line of the first stanza will serve as the fourth line in the third stanza.
The third line of the first stanza will serve as the fourth line in the fourth stanza.
The fourth line of the first stanza will serve as the fourth line in the fifth stanza.
The sixth stanza is the same as the first stanza.

I hope you enjoy working with this new form as much as I do, and have. If you write a Laurenova, I'd love for you to paste the link in a comment here so I can read it.
Also, if you'd be so kind as to include in your author notes that I was the creator of the form when you do use it, I'd be more than appreciative.
All comments and suggestions are welcomed as to your thoughts on this form.
Thanks fellow poets.
Blessed Be,
~Sherry~
FOOTNOTE: If anyone is aware of an existing form of poetry that coincides with this one, please bring the matter to my attention.
Thank you so very much. ~Sherry~
Thanks Jasmine for allowing me to post a link to your poem, along with my own, as an example of how to write a Laurenova.

Keep up the great work! I am off to read my first laurenova.
