Tell me Your Scares!

Just a fun look at fears. Share yours! Via comments, not a contest.
In the true spirit of Halloween, I am forced to think of various things that scare me. Now. I want you to participate in this one, via comments.

What I think of isn't stuff generally considered "serious scares" like death or anything like that. I'm a horror fan, so I enjoy superficial fear!

Bring me your pit full of spiders!

So, as a horror fan, what scares me?

The movie "Poltergeist." Holy cow, the movie scares the bejeezus out of me! When the guy goes into the bathroom and starts peeling off his face! AHHH! And the little midget lady was freaky as heck!

Every horror fan has that one movie. So for any horror movie fans out there, what is your one movie, the movie that never fails to scare you?

What else scares me?

That thing scares me. Come forth and stand tall, all Robocop fans! Do you remember that robot? Good old ED-209. I have seen every Robocop flick, and none of those things freaked me out worse than that thing. Especially when it was trying to get down the stairs. Oh my God!

Well, I have shared my guilty superficial fears with you. Now it is your turn! Have fun! Happy Halloween!

My Dear Sister, did you say you wanted some fears? Well, I have some for you:

I started out scared of everything, so it's fair to say that I still

have my phobias. My big brothers didn't help much.

My brother, David, would awaken me with a cold glass of water in the

face every morning...ergo, I'm terrified of water. No wonder I can't

allow the shower to hit me in the face.

Then he made me scared of rocking chairs by pulling me back to the

floor so quickly that I would nearly lose my breath. And you might

wonder why I think he should be hung by his toes from the flag pole

that stands at this great country's capital.

Of course, let's not forget the snakes, spiders, toads, roaches,

beetles, and earth worms that he threw on me as I toddled past him. I

soon got wise and stayed as clear of him as possible. Of course, being

so young, I soon forgot to stay away, and he'd get me with something

    else.

We kids were all in the hay loft one afternoon, my two sisters and two

of my brothers, when Richard came up with the brilliant idea of putting

a board across the loft and everyone taking turns walking across it. I

did so well the first time that it made me very happy with myself. I

asked to do it again, not realizing that Richard was right behind me

making the board sag more than it would have with my tiny frame. He

suddenly grabbed me by the shoulders as if to throw me off. I am still

    afraid of heights!

Now most would say that my fears are unreasonable and illogical, and I

would be one who would say so. However, one who would say that didn't

live with sadistic little bastards like I did! Mwahahahahaha!!!

Oh, hun, it's just a comment thing, I wasn't looking for actual pieces. I was just hoping to get a list of some of the smaller fears and add them to this when I get a good amount.

Umm, I know this is a silly question, but can this be a story, or does it have to be a poem?

Umm, well, I am soooooo scared of Stephen King's It. I never liked clowns anyways, but that movie really pushed me over the edge. Umm, yeah other than that, I am not really afraid of much. I was afraid of the dark but Gabe got rid of that for me.

    Hugs
    Jess

WOW... Um... My fear is fire... I'm not really afraid of any movies except for the one with the freaky clown... that freaked me out... and I don't like on The Day After Tomorrow when the wolves attack... So I guess I could say I'm also afraid of animals attacking... lol

    Hugs,
    Beth

Goodness, I get scared when I think of my fears. LOL I've seen the original Exorcist seven times, and I've never seen the entire movie. LOL This is a good contest; I may enter. Love and hugs, Patricia
