Meet Mimi Fufu and her new baby mallard duck, Janet Wannet quack-quack. See how Mimi Fufu pampered her duckling like a proud mother hen. With ribbons and bows and painted toe nails too, just like Mimi, Janet Wannet became a real fufu. In the end Janet Wannet finds a boyfriend. Come
celebrate with Mimi and her best friend Simona as they host the grandest wedding celebration and feast for the two lovey duckys.

I love reading...and writing.. childrens poetry and short stories. I used to do a lot of it when my children were very young, don't know what happened to all of those, though.
Your books sound wonderful. I'll be looking up more information on the internet.
The story described above sounds delightful

very good
This is good. I hope the young ones will enjoy this. Keep on writing friend. -
I love the look to the books, reminds me of the old Jack,Jane and Spot books I read as a child, the look to it. What a wonderful idea for children, reading is so important for a child at a young age and anything that will grab their attention to get them reading is great, I think that is done here, the best of luck to you.

It is so hard nowadays to write a kid story that won't offend too many. These stories so very unique and I love that they rhyme, there doesn't seem to be enough of those around anymore. As a parent, I look for books for my five year old to learn to read with, and its difficult.

That is a marvelous history behind your stories, Mary. I read yesterday, I can't remember whose poem it was... but it was about how the Winnie the Phoo series came about. I never knew that it was bases on a real set of stuffed animals and that a father wrote them for his son. Hearing that made those stories much more appealing to me, just like you just did here. My sister is expecting in December, and I hope to send her a set of your books.

Thanks to all for your kind and encouraging comments. I have a series of 10 Mimi Fufu books to complete. Two more are presently being illustrated, "The Little Entrepreneurs," and "Get Your Fresh Squeezed Lemonade." Written in rhyme these are all true to life stories about my daughter, Jamie, when she was young. My daughter, whom my husband and I did call Mimi Fufu, now 34 years of age, is married and has five children. Her children enjoy reading as well about their mother when she was little. Even the boys had to try out the secret to Mimi Fufu and her fufu friend Simona's trick to successful fishing; as well as some grown men who wanted to tear out the particular page and put it in their tackle boxes.
Anyway, I'm enjoying this project but as you say Amicus, promote, and that's the had part. I'm thankful to Donna for offering space to share my works.
Once again thank you. I do appreciate all your comments

Think this is great for kids. Sounds like it would be fun to read it to them too. Good luck. -
That's so cute! If I had money I would buy it... even though I'm 14... I love cute story things.

Ah, the best of luck...I have asked a fellow AP writer to illustrate a childrens book for me that I will publish through Lulu.com...for those that don't know, it is very difficult to publish a full color, illustrated childrens book and get it listed on all the online booksellers.
The reason being that most publishers use the same printer, 'Lightning Sources' and the do not print interior color illustrations, or books shorter that 48 pages.
Best of luck to the author and no matter what, you need to promote and advertise your book in any and every way you can.
