Summertime............

a time for long evenings, cool drinks, holidays, days at the beach - the list goes on OR perhaps this list can help you to see how others from different generations define what Summer means to them.

Northern Hemisphere Summer is just a week away, whilst Southern Hemisphere shiver and shake in the cold winter months.

Enjoy your Summertime!!!  -   Read a Poem

I'm bookmarking this column so I can come back and finish reading all the poems listed here. What prize will I get if I read and comment on each one?

    P. S. I like the picture. And the background really livens it up.

Nice idea. I don't know why, but I just like summer, especially sitting out in the sun in the warm rays. Plus, my birthday is June 22nd. LOL! Well, I'll probably read some of the poems as a reminder of how much I like summer. Oh, dang, I think I'm going to go outside right now. Oh, crap, it's night time.
Well, lol, good luck with this.

Thanks to the great links. This is actually a great idea over all the sites. They should let us search poems by topic or words..maybe they do it all ready and I am just a big dummy who doesn't know!! Anyway, thanks for these links. I hope you will do this again in other seasons.
