Ladies and Gentleman's Hell has Frozen over... PINK FLOYD RETURNS!!!!!!! WITH ROGER WATERS!!!!!

It's official people, the greatest incarnation of my favorite band, Pink Floyd is reuiniting for the Live 8 concert in England. This is from VH1 (Who sucks by the way because the top story in their news section is that Destiny's Child has split up...Yeah woopty shit, Floyd is back.)  

'Bringing an end to months of rumors, Pink Floyd announced over the weekend that the band's classic lineup will come together to perform at the London Live 8 concert on July 2. Bassist/songwriter Roger Waters — who acrimoniously split from the psychedelic rock group more than 20 years ago — will join guitarist/singer David Gilmour, drummer Nick Mason and keyboard player Richard Wright for the show in Hyde Park to help raise awareness about African debt relief.'

I can die a happy man after seeing this... To non fans this may not seem like much, but understand that Roger Waters was the brain behind much of their best concepts and ideas, creating such MONSTER hits as Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. And with David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason's genius musical abilities teamed up with Roger Waters this is an amazing thing. This to me is the equivelant of if The Beatles were all alive and reuinited. The only thing better than this would be if Pink Floyd's original lead singer/guitarist Syd Barrett joined in, but alas that would be impossible as he went a bit insane in the late 60's and now lives as a recluse. I love every version of Pink Floyd, but after Roger Waters left the band they grew a bit too soft rock and mellow for me. Now with Roger back on board atleast for one show I will witness rock and roll history. What an amazing day this is to discover such awesome news.
