A Child's Desire

.
I love children. But, not everybody is capable of having them. So, what's their next choice? Usually, couples will consider adoption. Most people would want to adopt a sweet little baby at a close-by orphanage. But what about the children with special needs? What about the poor children in countries other than ours? What about the outrageous cost?
That is where A Child's Desire fits in.

What Is A Child’s Desire?

A Child’s Desire is a non-profit charity that provides grants for families seeking to adopt hard to place children, children with special needs and children over the age of eight.

There are over 10 million orphans worldwide waiting for families to bring them home.
The average cost of adoption is $20,000.
Often, qualified families cannot pay for such costs up-front and give up hope of adopting.

Children all over the world are desperately in need of help. Orphans are caught in the waiting game as their adoptive parents struggle to raise the funds needed to bring them home.

You can help these children! Go to http://www.achildsdesire.org/ and start a fundraiser in your community!!

I contacted A Child's Desire, and when asked what kind of fundraiser I wanted to do, I told them of AllPoetry. I told them there were many wonderful people here that I'm sure would love to help me.
Was I right?

True, sad, so true, sad again. I respect you very much, in trying to help these broken young souls. Preach it. I will leave it at that.
