The truth of abuse - updated (very long - sorry) by master-of-shadow
Abuse is a greatly misunderstood and underestimated topic. Too many people think it is of rare occurrence, or just the over-reaction of a parents right to discipline their child. Until not long ago I also thought it was rare, I though I was a freak to have experienced it, felt alone in my past and present that no one could ever understand. However, I have since discovered that abuse is far more common than I could have ever thought, not only that but I found that there are many forms of abuse and they can occur at any time to anyone.
