My dream is for a more compassionate world where all living beings co-exist in mutual respect and care. Although I have much to be grateful for in life, I am a survivor of abuse and I understand well the misfortune and heartache others feel. Help often is not there when one reaches out for it. Victims are often brushed aside and expected to suck it up and continue with their lives as though nothing is wrong. Well, alot is wrong and something must be done about it. Our world must be transformed into a nurturing, caring communinity or we will continue to spiral downward into violence and hatred. I believe in both human rights and animal rights. A society that abuses animals also is tolerant of the harming of other helpless innocents. There must be zero tolerance toward abuse of any kind toward any living being.

This is the beginning of breaking the cycle. It is a start, at least.
