This is an email I received today I just had to share 'cause I'm told it's a true story & is just so precious!

In 1982 I was asked by friends who were getting married in the Church of the School where I graduated eighth grade and sang in the Choir, to sing in that same choir loft at their wedding. They gave me a tape of a choir of nuns singing this hymn by Francis of Assisi. When I heard it I knew I could compose a better praise song & I did. I tweaked Francis' words a bit, created my own melody & everyone loved the piece. The minister who presided over the wedding sought me out afterwards to tell me how lovely the song was. It was the first time I ever sang an original piece of music in a Church & the acoustics were great! It was a memorable occasion for me.
