should I do it and conform? BUT a few of my poems I meant to be spoken word before everyone started posting videos.. but I have no clue how youtube works. help?
so a bunch of people do spoken word videos on youtube for like every poem, and that's cool and all, and pretty awesome that you can make it work with all your poems
but I only have a few that are meant to be read aloud
because there's a certain tone I want to capture in them.
I don't have a youtube account.. idk if I'll make one
it depends on how many poems I plan on reading

* weren't meant to be spoken word originally, but then I read them out loud to a friend and I thought they sounded okay.
**in reverse chronological order. so the whites of my eyes hurt was originally my first spoken word. I'm sure I had others before that that could have sounded good.. but I didn't think of it at the time so idk.
if you guys think other ones should be read out loud feel free to tell me.
I kinda really want to do this now.
a huge factor in my decision is because when I hear poetry said aloud by the person who wrote it, it just sounds so much more real and emotional, like you can get more of an insight into what they were thinking when they wrote it.
so for some of those.. I won't be recording the videos until I get into the same - or similar - mindset I was in when I wrote them.
