    i strongly suggest wilde's poetry. it's a pity he only wrote one novel. and huxley is loooove!

    the novels of the other bronte sisters are worth a look - jane eyre is pointless but it's my favourite of charlotte's - especially anne bronte's "the tenant of wildfell hall" and emily's "wuthering heights," but you've probably already read that one

    freakonomics! go you! that was a pretty interesting read that went by way too fast.

    and have you read anything by cormac mccarthy that wasnt the road? not that ive read the road, but i was wondering if he took some getting used to and if there was something i could read to transition into his style.

      ya, i've read the road and no country for old men. his style is a little unorthodox but it's pretty easy to get into. if you've seen the movie no country for old men the book will be easier than normal because there are some scenes where he goes into heavy weapon/fight description and the visual aid helps. i've heard all the pretty horses is good too, i definitely want to read more by him
