Life...What a Journey

Well, let's see I've been on this website for almost a year now I think, and I'm about to leave for PA here on Monday morning at 3 am. I've not really been around much lately because of children, work, and just life in general. So this blurb/Coloumn is to catch everyone up on what has been going on in my life.

To start things off with, I did get a new job as a Corrections Officer, and I turned in one badge for another badge. I'm extremely excited about this job, although it is a lot more dangerous than the last. My children are doing wonderful and Gabriel is finally fully potty trained which is completely awesome. Peyton is turning into such a smart and beautiful young lady and always keeping me in check; I wouldn't ask for it any other way. Although the weather is starting to get a lot colder out here and we've had snow fall already, things are quite amazing. I don't think I've ever been as close with my family as I am right now, my entire life. I was kicked out of my home, but things have been great for me despite that and I've gained a deeper bond with my family, and rely a lot more on myself. What else...Oh, I've quit smoking WOOT WOOT, two reasons behind that one haha, In the state of Colorado bringing cig's into a prison is considered a FELONY, and second we don't get smoke breaks...so it's made it a lot easier for me to do. I finally got furniture for my apartment and a TV... although I don't have cable, it's alright I have a ton of movies I keep watching over and over. Like I said earlier I'm leaving for PA on monday morning at 3 am and I will be gone for a month. The likely hood of me being able to get on here and write or even check this will be slim to none I'm afraid. So I hope you will all keep me in your prayers and thoughts during my duration out there. I had to take this quarter off from school for my BS degree in CJ, but I'll be starting that back up in December and hopefully graduating end of next year... (keeping my fingers crossed).

I hope you're all doing well and I know I've not been able to visit or really comment on anyones writes lately, and for that I deeply apologize. My thoughts are with you and your familys during these Holidays coming up!
