the Bucket

some times I wonder how humans have lasted this long when i look at all the things going on in the world at this time right now from greed to government control to the war's and religion disagreements from the east to the west if we have always been this ignorant as a whole how is it we have all lasted this long ,

It all started today when i was out front watering my plants in the front yard so they don't cook ( since I live in southern california and it is a 105 today ) I lite a cigarette haven't had one in 4 days i figured i lasted that long i deserved one

and guess who came across the street "hey neighbor " I finally had it "the only time this person shows up is when they want some eggs or hey can I borrow some bread or do you got a cigarette ?" and it is always I will pay you back "this time I said yeah ? they motioned for a cigarette you know that hand signal of some one smoking" I finally said have you ever heard of karma ? you know what goes around comes around ?

they looked at me funny I said you cant watch tv without electricity right ? they said no and then i said so you have to pay the electricity bill in order to have it right ? they said yes, i said ok so its the same principle here you cant go through life without ever paying a thing before it eventually runs out do you have a quarter ? they looked at me turned around and walked back home I started chuckling and the mail lady was there she started laughing under her breath.... I thought it was over with then they come back out HEY! i don't have one " i yelled OK!" then laughed a little

it amazes me how many people do this they don't work they don't pay anything into society yet get or expect every thing handed to them I work my butt off for what I have so does my wife we support our child we pay our bills maybe not always on time but we don't go without anything that we don't have to have, maybe i may not be able to buy a pack of smokes every time i want one or maybe we go for a few weeks without a soda and we don't have cable tv either but we have a roof over our head and were cool in the summer warm in the winter and we don't go hungry and we work
for it , and you don't see me going door to door asking for a cigarette so i guess I expect that they do the same for me support them selfs and if they cant afford it they go without I think society needs to focus more on this when raising children and be included in the morals of society and this country The US would have less problems as it is right now the reason california is bankrupt is because of all the people who get help but have never paid anything into society im all for helping out a single mother as long as she has paid her dues

( she is working and she can collect the benefits she has paid into )

no more supporting illegal immigrants or there children our schools are so over packed as it is right now because of this i know it is hard to say but some times you have to think me and my family or them and there family who do you feed ? we cant keep going on the road we are on forever as it is right now a nation as a whole if we keep up what were doing we wont make it another 20 years because it is like taking money out of a bank account that has no money in it every single person that has ever paid money into social security will receive 50 cents on every dollar paid that is 50% of wages paid into it that means when it comes down to me retiring 50 cents on every dollar i paid into retirement went to some one who has never worked a day in there lives ? they are giving money i worked for away to some one else because they came to this country illegally and needed to see a doctor or needed to feed there family or some dead beat across the street is sucking it up in food stamps and they haven't had a job since they were 17

the truth sucks big time what about my family we don't qualify for food stamps we have been denied twice even though i work less then part time and my wife works full time on minimum wage and we have a daughter to feed even though when we are grocery shopping on our 100 dollars a month to eat off of i see them in there with two shopping carts full ... now can you imagine only spending a 100 dollars a month on food when baby formula is 15.00 dollars a jar and we go through 7 every two weeks and more every day as she gets bigger yet we get denied this country the land of the free as long as your not native or born here, the land of opportunity as long as you were born into a rich family and i found out a long time ago your guilty until proven innocent


this country is nothing but a bucket of lost dreams until people wake up see the reality and fight for a change i have a feeling as it stands right now it wont happen in my life time every one is to entranced in the cable tv and Nintendo wii
