Changing Background

From the page you wish the background changed select Edit background from the right hand column...

From the Background Edit Page select your Main Background From the choices listed

Note: Custom list is only available to Gold and Silver Members and looked at later in the Column...

Open up your tiled, themed, Patterns or Floral lists and make a selection.

Note: Colour selection made the same way as Font colour is selected... 

A Visual  thumbnail of the background is shown Make your selection by clicking on the Choose this background...

You will notice a preview of the background you can adjust the edge es in section two if you feel it necessary 

To check the font colours are OK and bright enough click on the box with the rainbop inside to bring up the colour control for the font this will change in real time on the sample so you can see how visual the fonts are.

By moving the black rectangle in the colour column, then refining the colour by mouse over and click to move the cross-hairs. This then gives you the ability to assess any colour you can imagine. Place the cross-hairs to the extreme top right for black and extreme lower right for white. This is the same system if you are using colour only backgrounds...  

In the right hand column are some advanced fixes that hide or show the edge line and adjust left spacing use only if its really necessary and you feel confident in your actions 

A colour brightness and visibility for each colour used is tested and placed under the test strip the submit button will not become active until these are with in the site minimum standard if for any reason you need to over right this can be done from the right hand column 

Last  remember to use the Submit Button so your settings and selections are put in place

GOLD AND SILVER MEMBERS

You have the ability to store backgrounds you have or third party's have created for you. This is done in the Custom Area, select Custom from the list.

Browse to the file on your computer and upload the background then as before use the Choose this Background link and test font colours as explained above... Always select the Submit Button when complete.
