My Stance on Obama among other things

Obama
Anti-Christ
Bad decisions for US?
Christianity in general?
My views as a "black man" in an "anti-black world"
Okay. I'm going to speak on this. And you may hate me afterwards, but know that I don't give a shit I have lost friends/followers before, I am prepared to lose (and gain) more. People are expendable and can be replaced.

You all may or may not know my radical views. That's all fine and dandy. Get to know them sometime. People say Obama is the Anti-Christ, maybe.. idk, I don't follow that religion. I live a very different life than most people. And what happens in politics and other religions is something that I really do NOT care about.

Everyone (not singling anyone out) has consistently asked me about my stance on this, or made comments about my actions in reference to this. They assume that I'm like many other African people who voted for Obama because he was African. And they assume that I should be concerned that he's some mythical bad guy set to bring about the apocalypse. They assume that I also care about America's well-being or that I am mis/un-informed about things that he is doing.

And you know, you are probably right. I am mis/un-informed. But it is my choice.

Why should I care about a country that is dominated by limited minded people who assimilate every culture they come across and try and pass it off to what they consider the lesser of two evils? Take for instance, back home. Many great African achievements are discredited from being anything but those of Nubian descent. People will tell me I'm wrong all day long about the history of the Nubian and Egyptian people. They will insist that they were never "black", they were Arab or some other nationality.

It grows tiresome. I was motivated to write something extensive, but I will be very blunt.

I do not care about America. I see America as a stepping stone to where I'm headed. Look at many of the Asian/Spanish that come here. They come to America to learn and enjoy the "freedoms" (opportunity) here to accomplish things they need. Trust me, I know many of them. They are far from patriotic. They live by the dollar. I can respect that. Money is something that many need and can pave the way to many things.

America needs to mind its own damn business. It's trying to police everything and everyone, dominating trying to keep everything underneath it's foot. Many people are far from patriotic in this country, I am a prime example. I scoff when Elementrary schools have their children recite the pledge of allegiance. This country is based on Christian-related ideals and is set up as a system of control. People say that this is a democracy, but that is something I believe to be a lie.

My views may or may not coincide with yours, that is fine. Do not try and impress your beliefs on me. I am open to everything, I will view and listen to many politcal, religious, etc debates/discussions. The only time that it gets offensive/irritating is when you try and force me to see things your way.

Particularly (And in no way am I attacking my Christian friends btw) Christians is who I've run into. I know Muslims, Atheists, Buddhists and even a Scientologist. I mesh well with Spiritualist followers. The Christian people that I've run into always seem to be on a constant conversion mission. To try and change everyone's beliefs into their own. It's a "You are wrong, I am right. Admit it or burn in hell" declaration all day long from many of these people.

So, if I'm wrong about who I am. And I truly am some delusional man, then oh well.. I guess I burn in hell. That's my choice, leave it be. Stop trying to tell me I'm wrong. That just makes you a douchebag.

But back to Obama.

I'll say it flat out. I don't give a shit about politics. I planned on voting for him because

1) I hate republicans, I've known nothing but trouble from the Republican Presidents that have been in office during my time here.
2) I do not like John McCain's views.
3) (And here is where people get angry) He is African.

Yes, I said it right there in 3). I had already made plans to cast my possibly only vote in my time as an American citizen (even though i feel it has no true effect) because he was an African.

I am very.. "Pro-black" I have seen nothing but oppression of my people that I feel must end. The image that we portray to other people is ridiculous. Every time someone finds out I am African (YES I AM) they are surprised.

"You're black?!"
"I thought you were white"
"You don't act black"

Srsly guyz, (lol)

I hate that sort of statement. Everyone expects my people to be ignorant. It is annoying to say the least. Not every "white" person listens to rock, not every "black" person listens to rap. Not every "white" person is redneck/country. Not every "black" person is ghetto. There are ignorant people of every nationality. Don't be stupid and assume someone is this or that based on their behavior. Expand your mind. Dont' show your own simple mentality.

Everything that is "black" is always discredited in some ways. From our great societies, to our music, to our martial arts. Capoeira was invented by Angolan slaves in Brazil. But everyone swears up and down it is a strictly Brazillian martial art.

Wrong.

Everyone swears up and down that the Egyptians never were black, or excuse me.. "Negroid"

Wrong.

WTF is a Negroid? I assume they are Negroes from Negroland.

I detest the term colored and I detest the term Negro.

I am African. I am not a nigger, nigga, negro, negroid, or colored person. You may call me an African, Nubian or black. Any of that is fine.

So, I'm going to sum this up, as I do not feel like being redundant.

I am not a Christian, but I respect your views. But please don't try and discredit my like for Obama by saying he is some anti-christ. I don't want to hear it.

I am not a political man, so saying "This is your fault, damn Obama worshipper" is annoying too. I voted for him for the above reasons. If he is not doing what he said he was going to do now, well guess what.. he's only catching heat for that because he's black. That's happened with many other presidents (promise one thing, deliver another). But yes, my primary reason is as you assumed, it was because he's black. I do not give a shit if you don't like it.

I am not a patriot. This country can come down off of its high horse thinking its better than everyone else. What happens here, is not my concern. I am (blatantly) using this place to do things that would be impossible elsewhere. Until my ability to do that is threatened, what happens between now and then is not my concern. My views for what I want to do in the future are very.. Extreme. It involves a place that is not the US, so what happens here is irrelevant to me. If anything, it may help.

Love me.
Hate me.

I don't care. I am not here to impress. I am on a mission.

Oh and on an earlier point about voting. Yes, I believe in the theory of the government being ran by a secret organization.

Totally. No explanation why, I just do.

Later thoughts: Okay, maybe that was a bit harsh. I don't um.. Mind America. But it's hard to like a place when the majority of it is what aggravates you. America is more like lost sheep to me. And they simply need the right shepherd.

i honestly disagree, but i admire you in being so strong in your opinion. its a bold statement to be honest and say you vote for him because hes black. honestly color had nothing to do with who i would have voted for, it was all about who would have been better for the country.

I agree with you on some things this country was founded on a principle of freedom were did it loose its way ?

im not sure but one thing is for sure the country who is suppose to be free for all and a place for freedom lost when we got christian men and women in office its like a circle of hate that repeats itself every 5 or 10 years and people don't like it but they keep voting for it , we have never had an honest president ever not once we have never had an honest politician ever and likely never will but we keep taking the crap from them they keep taking more and more of our money we work for our pay checks damn it they dont do shit and get a large percentage of it every week or two

i look for the day that some one who isnt Christian runs for office but sadly they will never make the spot light because every organization every news group ever school every office and i bet even my tv is Christian makes me wanna bitch slap it now i think about it

I hate to use hate as a term because it is such a strong one but deep down inside in my soul i cant lie and I hate Christians every single one of them all the way to the pope to mother Teresa they are all ignorant bigoted small minded individuals who with all honesty need to keep there opinion to them selfs or get shot and they can all kiss my pale white ass

I voted for obama because I hate republicans but I also hate democrats but bush put me through ten years of bullshit so i figured what better way to get back at them then vote a black man in office im IN! I wish i could have seen the KKK members face when they saw him coming at them i would have taken a picture if i could

I cant say im against america i think it has mass potential but it will only have that potential when people start standing up instead of taking it deep while sitting down I hope I see it in my life time but i have my doubts brother

I'm not totally against it. I'm more against its ideals and principles by which it governs itself.

whew...you used a scalpel in place of a pen.
    Passionate soul
youhave the courage and might of heaven
    whether-you-like it or not...

I love America, and I am passionate for America.
I believe the blood that our ancestors spilled
    was worth every ounce

of your discomfort...and our....hunger for CHANGE.
    You take
    HELL ...way too lightly....
    a
Man who claimed to be the son of god
    said that;

    it is unspeakable..and none dare
even go -near-the depths of hell

for the out-cries are that painful
and the nightmares of what they've done
to this world and God's children

they must live and feel each wretched
pain thrust upon them that they caused...
    can you
IMAGINE what that must sound like?

it is said: even the hosts of heaven
    NEVER GO NEAR IT....

now...that must be more pain and suffering
than we have the words to describe
or imagery to dare to write.

    You have a passionate soul.
May you learn to embrace it.
    WE need Passionate souls
YOU ARE NEEDED in this WORLD!

    respect and humble bow,

  • I agree. I hate the stero-type that people but on not only as black citizens but white ones as well. I don't think that 'black' or 'white' people act a certain way. And I hate the way some christans try shoving things down your troat. It makes no sense to me at all. But I think you should realize that there are people in this world like me.... who aren't judgmental. And don't care about 'skin color' ... its 2009 and i think we all should wake the hell up! And stop holding things against eachother like 'race' or even religon.

  • eh I think saying hate is going to far and well maybe you do hate america although i dont think you should hate it you should just try and send it in the right direction some were along the way in the past things were lost from the start closed minded people founding a country on a single sided belief system now is the time to send it in the right direction if you just push certain people away because of there beliefs then you are no better then those you are fighting against

It's something I feel will never change. The only way that a change like that will happen unitedly and be accepted is if the world were like it were in The Giver. If you haven't read it, I urge you to. That was the only way of complete elimination of such things.

      • oh yeah the giver is one of my favorite books

me and my dad were just talking about that tonight he is republican and i am democrat we get into these huge arguments all the time about it... he is the one who sent me that video i sent to you about obama , i asked him tonight ( Ok so if the democrat's are bad and the republicans are bad to vote for then who do we have left that is good ? ) he had no reply to that and honestly i dont know either

it will take some thing of enormous proportions to get the majority of people in america white/black/hispanic/jew/christian/pagan/Wiccan/Islamic/Buddhist or any number of the other sects/religions/races to make a major change for every one in this country

its just like gay people they should have the right to marry if they wish too

or wiccans like me when we go some were to put in an application in any federal building or even applying to college i feel we should have the right to check that under our own names as our denomination we shouldn't just have to check other

but the fact is we live in a straight/ christian majority country and i cant even say white/christian/straight majority country any more because there are enough black people in this country that there has made a difference to allow a black man into the white house to lead this country for the good or the bad we will see when the time comes around and no amount of hey im sorry can make up for what black people have been put through but just like the affrican people who sold the nubians to the the whites to be shipped off for slavery into america or the native americans who were pushed into camps by white settlers into this country no amount of im sorry's will make up for that

but it wasnt me who did it ( or the remaining white people in this country ) it was our ancestors and the ( remaining white people in this country ) the majority at least voted for obama so that should count for some thing in saying the majority of us are sick of the bullshit also anubis

That's why we're brothers. I totally relate to what you just said. It's not as bad for us as some people make it seem. Racists are a dying breed. I had a dream it will be gone in time. For some people are still here who were alive back when segregation was in its prime. Change is coming.

  • I pretty much voted against sarah palin ahha. I agree with this and think you are awesome for always speaking your mind I don't hate america, we just need a new direction. Bush kinda fucked everybody imo.
