I wonder, what people expect to happen when they have contests for 'their favorites only' or restrict them to a certain list... And then go on to say 'please don't get offended if you're not on the list' lol. Funny thing is,thats exactly what happens. People do get offended, you can't blame them,human nature. Guess that's why life is so interesting. Another interesting thing is, when one comments on a poem with rewards,quoting virtually the whole poem,telling you that's the part they loved,for the sole purpose of filling up the lines. I'd personally prefer no comments than one's like that- prefer, but i don't mind. My best advice to all i meet here and whoever reads this, try not to let anyone get to you. Especially about petty things. It always amuses me when i see heated discussions about things here,other than the poetry critiques. This site is awesome, just remember though, it's not what makes or breaks who you are, or the quality of your work. Only you can do that. Peace.

Well...
I don't care if strangers get upset if they are not invited to my invite only contests. I was just remembering the last time I had one. I got a hundred messages from my friends asking about it. Most were joking
around, a few we genuinely upset. I didn't feel like getting those messages again. I am pretty blunt about stuff, so I just told them not to do it this time. They didn't.
I so agree with you about petty things.
