I have noticed a phenomenon here that really have left me quite perplexed, as well as frustrated. I read quite a lot here on All Poetry. I enjoy reading and honestly don’t mind. It would, however, be nice to have some of the favors returned. I know it can be easy to overlook the notes when a person have a number of them but when one reads 53 poems in a day (sometimes more than that) and has only one or two of hers read it gets quite frustrating.
I don’t think I am the best poetess on this site nor do I claim to even be in the top running. I just think it would be considerate to have my poetry read sometimes, especially when I read yours.
A while back someone, in a nice way, told me my comments needed to be more in depth and that I needed to applaud more often. That has not even helped. I wonder, to what avail am I doing all of this reading, points? I do host a myriad of contests and I more than earn those points. I comment on every entry into the contest and I judge fairly.
So, my question is this: what do I have to do to get my poetry read?
PS: I sincerely apologize to those of you whom I have missed returning the favor. I know one time I had over 500 comments in two weeks on one write and could not keep up so I did the best I could.

If I did what you deserved, I'd read every piece your precious soul has ever written. I'm sorry you are feeling left out, believe me, you're not the only one who feels this way I'm pretty sure. I love ya sis, and I can't speak for others, just myself. So, just know I have off-line troubles, and could go on for quite sometime with my own vent on life in general. When I can't give anymore than I have, there's not much I can do. I send my love, always I hope you know I care.

Hi Rose I try to coment when ever I see one of my favs has a new poem sometimes i may miss one, but most times I am not on long enough. As You know I am not a big talker no way, but if I do read your work and it says something to me I wil post a comment. Sometimes they are short or if I like what you wrote I will post something long. Like your poem the other day that realy spoke to me and hit home with.................joe

idk have you featured your writing -- all i know is I write for the want to write whether i am read or not read doesnt bother me - i know I don't always have time to read and comment all my favs and such but i do what i can when i can sorry

I have not been on as of lately, this year has been horrific for me, both health and personally..... When I do come on I try to read to liberate my thoughts and have a breather; however, I am not on as I used to and it just doesn't make me feel like before, here..... Don't get me wrong I love AP..... You are one of my favorites here, I try to read you as well as my other favorites..... Don't be frustrated, about not getting reads, I write and I'll be lucky if I get at least 4..... You are not the only one here to not get reviewed..... You write very well and it shows, and we those that truly know you through your writing applaud and love your writing and you too!
