Although it has been a while since hosting a multi-round contest but nevertheless, it's high time to see who will be crowned the ‘Ultimate Cricket' of 2009.
For those who never heard of our term of cricket...
A cricket is a write that leaves its reader in absolute speechlessness, rendering that person with nothing more to say or complain about it their commentary toward the owner of that write.
For those who have entered a Cricket contest of Celticmoon, I, or both of us collaborating in the Cricket contest series. So here is your chance to prove your pen and creative minds to a challenge. And trust us each round will be different as well as difficult from the previous one. The number of each round will depend on how many entries we receive in the following factors:
- Number of entries in the preliminary round
- Entry entered on time
SPECIAL NOTICE:
Be forewarned, that any entry which contains content that in hindrance to site policy [ http://allpoetry.com/home/guide/terms ], will be instantaneously reported to the moderators and you will be automatically removed from the contest!!
Also, anyone who are to in reference to another participant- in all manners of degrading or otherwise- will be removed immediately and set forth the high possibility of never entering any future Cricket contests hosted.

We are very adamant about having writes labeled/categorized according to write itself as well as accepting entries no matter of age, gender, etc. HOWEVER, if you are under the age of eighteen (18), do not enter with an erotica piece
There will be a total of six rounds. Each with a different topic/challenge until the top six finalists makes it to the final round which would be set up in contest-formed format. This is how the rounds will be set up:

I will say this as a side note: somewhere in-between the rounds themselves, there will be a team created for a specific challenge.
Judging Process:
Each entry will be based on these criteria & point system:
- Punctuation/Grammar (1-20)
- Overall Presentation (1-20)
- Overall Feel (1-20)
- Language (1-20)
- Creativity (1-10)
- Flow (1-10)
Plus an addition category:
- Teamwork (1-15) (Only for the chosen round for collaboration)
RULES:
1. Label/categorize accordingly
2. Legible font/background
3. Poetic devices are your friends!!!!!
4. Swearing, self-harm, slang, chat-speak are not allowed
....rest of the rules you should know by heart (especially when dealing with our Cricket contests)
In addition, to those who make it to the first official round will be directed to a group link to join of which they have approximately three (3) days to join. If he/she has not joined within that allotted time, they hereby will forfeit their position in the contest. In other words, you'll be removed from the contest entirely.
We understand that everyone has busy lives, of which some things just cannot be overlooked. Which in turn this is how things will be set up:
- Every entrant will have exactly 2 weeks from when the round was posted to have their entry in (link posted in commentary section of contest)
- If any type of an emergency (college finals, illness, etc.) comes up, of which just can/could not be avoided, immediately send either Celticmoon or myself an IM and you'll be permitted an extension of an extra week. But please make sure that your reason for the extension is a valet one.
A group will be created strictly for the contestants of this multi-round contest of which group IMs will be posted for contest round links and to talk about with your fellow contestants as well....nothing more.
