Many people I love have been affected by self-harm and suicide, and it sickens me that an entire subculture has been based around these things.
Cutting is NOT emo, nor is it a sign of weakness.
The pain these people face is very real,
and I will NOT have ignorant idiots
insulting them by glorifying it.
I loathe emo, and everything it stands for;
my hatred for prejudiced morons who say cutting is emo
is rivalled only by my dislike of people
who think it's cute to cut themselves
and tarnish the dignity of those who actually need help.
