Just wanted to let everyone know that I have made it home from the hospital. It will be a few days before they have pathology reports to know if they were able to remove all the melanoma from my shoulder. Also removed my lymph nodes on right side of neck.
At least for now I am home again. And I am grateful for that. Thank you to everyone for all the love, support and prayers
I'm continuing to leave this in the Lord's hands as far as what happens next.

How do you do what you do - what you do?
Your words gush forth in an ever flowing fountain
from the tip of your pen man!
You walk us into life's unexpected and sometimes heartbreaking, lonely journeys with new insights and discoveries every day.
Words flow freely and effortlessly from your fountain.
We stand there in a trance hypnotic caused by the rippling of the water playing on our senses......
soothing our nerves
quieting our thoughts
temporarily taking us away from circumstances beyond our control

Oh, my friend, I did not know. You and I and others, who have fought the fight, know... we do not lie down and let it be. We get everything done we must and then get on with living life to its absolute fullest. I have been clean for 8 years and, although I am innately cautious, it does not define me.
May your should and neck not keep you awake and in pain. I remmeber wearing the wrap around bandage like a muffler for some time until they took the drain out...but my, I do not have a double chin and I think that that might be because I have an almost little invisible scar just below the jaw line. So..see...it has its little interesting points.
I have had my nips and tucks...and they healed each in their own way. They are like writing on my skin that remind me that but a blink away is something different. I have learned to deal with stress in my life and not let it find a hard nut place to be.
As well, those of us who have been there, know that we go through a time when we fear that we are not in control of our bodies...that there has been a tick within and all we could do is think positively.
One day, penfriend, I hope you and I can sit down and I will tell you about miracles.
