Out Toolin Round

Just actin like I have no cares in the world. Letting the worries wash right off of me, into the disappearing miles.
This past weekend, I was in Oregon visiting my closest friend from high school. His name is Sean and we have known one another since our sophmore year, friends now for 26 years. I dont think there isnt anything we cant share with one another. He knows all the secrets and where the bodies are buried. Not to mention the endless hurts and broken dreams of the past. but hey that's what true friends are all about.

Anyway, we went motorcycle riding, up into the local area, backwoods and interstate. Took daytime and nighttime rides. I will admit Sean was worried, about possibility of rain in the evening. Being an old forecaster from my days in the Air Force I assured him it'd be no problem. On way home last forty miles were all interstate, and it rained buckets upon buckets, LOL. Perhaps I just wanted to ride more than him! Oh yeah temp was in low forties at the warmest, so add moisture and 70-80mph, you can imagine what effect was on the body.

Riding the roads, representative of a great friendship. Where what is between you, goes in both directions. A mutuality of steadfast presence, no matter the time of day nor the matter at hand. It is a rare gift, to have friends such as those. I have been blessed to have a very select few.

Spending time with your best friend is always a wonderful thing! The problems that seemed huge are no longer mountains...they magically turn into things we can manage, like ant hills. If they continue to exist at all. I'm glad you had your breath of fresh air!

You are indeed blessed. Friends like Sean (for you) & Ann (for me) are quite rare & awfully difficult to come by & keep.

Motorcycles! I would love to own one, someday. A Harley. You two look like y'all haven't a care in the world!

    Take care!

      Dennis,

ah the stories that could be told, LOL! Yes I had a blast as always, shot a lot of bull, and solved each other's mundane problems of life. What more could a man ask for?

Never mind, I already know the answer to that as well, LOL!

      Talk with ya soon, Brother
