I Have been asked by Sandi to spot light our members, like I have done in spotlighting poems I like on the front page. To be impartial, I will leave my comments here on this column once a week for the five winklings poets whom I have read this week. I will as well leave a link to the poems so that every one who reads my column can read the poems I have read perhaps a discusion can come over the said work. This is designed to inspire group particapation, as well as perhaps inspire other critical columns here. I will not be harsh with any poem, since I tend to look for something that I like, something that grabs me. I am not here to bash anyone, only bring to light really good poems, so perhaps critic does not fit as well as promoter, but I like the ring of critic.

I hope every one enjoys the poems I find, since Sandi wishes me to spot light each and every of our near 200 members, I am starting at the bottom of the list and working towards number one, I will of course skip myself because I think there is something wrong with me promoting my own work since I am writing this journal. I will as well find Random quotes from various winklers, again these quotes will be from poems that I find striking.
I may even slip a mystery quote, a mystery quote will be from a winkler but the object will be for any one to guess who. The first one who tells me and I will send them 100 points. I will mark the quote mystery quote and then the game will be afoot, the only rule is the author of the quote is not eligable to guess, as it would be an unfair advantage.
So lets get reading and have a discusion.
Quote of the week: My world does not acknowledge I am born--
She is your only welcome to the morn,

Reading List:
Zachary J. Payne : Swimming without water
http://allpoetry.com/poem/5079863
My thoughts: This write has struck me, reminded me
of the irony of O.Henry and Ambroce Beirce
for a short write this is rather inspired.
The turn comes in the center of the poem
and the last two lines resonate smoothly.
It is a nice free verse and worth a look.
XxGoldenxXDawnxX : The resonating sound
http://allpoetry.com/poem/4479809
My thoughts: I like the vantage point used here,
as well as the imagery, metaphor and overall
tone of the poem. This is a beautiful write
and definatly worth a look.

This is the only poem here, as I can see the poet has
not been on in a while. But the romantic imagery of
this write is very beautiful. This poem is worth a look.
Writing Wretch: Scared of his shadow
http://allpoetry.com/poem/4611681
Dark imagery and an intresting read,
this is worth consideration, I enjoyed reading it.
Wilma Winkie: Submissions of desire
http://allpoetry.com/poem/5028365
This by far is the best poem I have read this week,
I love teh imagery, metaphors, story line... Every word
counts, each word works creating a sublime and
enchanting poem. This poem is a must read!!
As I am just getting my feet wet with this column I hope you will all bear with me and hopefully read and comment with the

wink.
Next week there will be a mystery quote.
