This column is to help you grow inside. It is NOT for any contest prompts etc. I wrote the below statement and affirmations.
Sometimes you have a goal that you need to reach. Affirmations help you reach your goal. They are a very important part of meditation. You can say them any time of the day. Whenever you are going through a hard time affirmations really help.
Try and visualize your affirmation, write it down, speak it, don't be afraid to say it. The more you speak it the more confidence builds up inside of you. Sometimes people lack the confidence they need in getting a task done that's in front of them. Affirmations help. Remember to always stay positive. If you start doubting the affirmation you're saying it won't do any good.
Here are some of my personal affirmations. Feel free to use them. There might be some that are similar if so that is just by coincidence. If I do one that perfectly matches another please IM me with the date and link I'll remove it. Hopefully that won't happen.

I will have a good night and when I sleep I will get the full amount my body needs.
I am losing weight without harming my body and I will become the weight I'm suppose to be.
My words and thoughts help bring others up and will never bring down someone.
I help the ones that really need it and I feel and remain humbled that I can help others in their time of need.
I am not alone because people really do care about me.
I enjoy doing chores because it helps not only the universe but encourages others when they see something that's clean.
I will be adding on to these affirmations when I think of them.
I encourage you to write down your own affirmations in your book of shadows, or a journal.
